1La siguiente es la bendición que Moisés, el hombre de Dios, les dio a los israelitas antes de morir.
2Dijo: El Señor vino del monte Sinaí y nos iluminó desde el monte Seir. Salió del monte Paran con diez mil santos, con fuego ardiente en su mano derecha.
3¡Cuánto amas al pueblo! ¡Tienes a todos los santos en tu mano! Se sientan a tus pies para escuchar tus palabras,
4la ley que Moisés nos entregó y que les pertenece a todos los israelitas.
5El Señor se convirtió en el Rey en Israel cuando los líderes del pueblo se reunieron, cuando las tribus de Israel se reunieron.
6A Rubén le dijo: “Que viva y no muera, pero que sólo tenga unos pocos hombres”.
7A Judá le dijo: “Señor, por favor escucha el clamor de Judá y reúnelo con su pueblo. Aunque él luche por sí mismo, ayúdalo contra sus enemigos”.
8A Leví le dijo: “Tu Tumim le fue dado a Leví y tu Urim a los consagrados a Dios, los que probaste en Masá y con los cuales discutiste en las aguas de Meribá.
9Leví dijo que no prestaba atención a su padre y a su madre, que no reconocía a sus hermanos y que no reconocía a sus hijos. Los levitas hicieron lo que usted dijo y cumplieron su acuerdo.
10Ellos le enseñarán tu reglamento a Jacob y tu ley a Israel. Pondrán incienso ante ti y sacrificarán holocaustos enteros en tu altar.
11Señor, por favor bendice lo que tienen y acepta su servicio para ti. Destruye a los que los atacan; asegúrate de que sus enemigos no se levanten nunca más”.
12A Benjamín le dijo: “Que el que ama el Señor se mantenga seguro y a salvo en el Señor. El Señor siempre lo protege, dejándolo descansar sobre sus hombros”.
13A José le dijo: “Que el Señor bendiga su tierra con los mejores regalos del cielo, con el rocío y el agua de las profundidades de abajo;
14con las mejores cosechas maduradas por el sol y los mejores productos de las estaciones;
15con las mejores contribuciones de las antiguas montañas y los mejores materiales de las colinas eternas;
16con los mejores regalos de la tierra y de todo lo que hay en ella, junto con el aprecio de quien estaba en la zarza ardiente. Que estas bendiciones descansen en la cabeza de José como una corona para este príncipe entre sus hermanos.
17Es tan majestuoso como un toro primogénito; sus cuernos son como los de un buey salvaje. Los usará para cornear a las naciones, conduciéndolas hasta los confines de la tierra. Los cuernos representan los diez mil de Efraín, y los miles de Manasés”.
18A Zabulón le dijo: “Que celebre Zabulón en sus viajes e Isacar en sus tiendas.
19Convocarán a los pueblos a una montaña; ofrecerán los sacrificios apropiados allí. Disfrutarán de los ricos productos de los mares y del comercio a orillas del mar”.
20A Gad le dijo: “¡Bienaventurado el que extienda el territorio de Gad! Gad es como un león al acecho, listo para arrancar un brazo o una cabeza.
21Eligió la mejor tierra para sí mismo, ya que se le asignó una parte de la regla. Se reunió con los líderes del pueblo; hizo lo que el Señor dijo que era correcto, siguiendo los preceptos del Señor para Israel”.
22A Dan le dijo: “Dan es un joven león que salta de Basán”.
23A Neftalí le dijo: “Neftalí es realmente favorecido, lleno de la bendición del Señor. Se apoderará de la tierra al oeste y al sur”.
24A Aser le dijo: “Que Aser sea bendecido más que todos los demás hijos; que sea favorecido por encima de sus hermanos y que bañe sus pies en aceite de oliva.
25Que los cerrojos de tu puerta sean fuertes como el hierro y el bronce, y que seas fuerte toda tu vida”.
26No hay nadie como el Dios de Israel, que cabalga por los cielos para venir a ayudarte; que cabalga por las nubes en majestad.
27El Dios eterno es tu hogar, y te sostiene con sus brazos eternos. Expulsa al enemigo delante de ti y da la orden: “¡Destrúyelo!”
28Como resultado, Israel vive en paz; Jacob no tiene problemas en un país de grano y vino nuevo, donde los cielos gotean de rocío.
29¡Cuán bendito eres, Israel! ¿Hay alguien como tú, un pueblo salvado por el Señor? Él es el escudo que te protege, la espada que te da confianza. Tus enemigos se estremecerán ante ti, y tú los pisotearás.

1Y ESTA es la bendición con la cual bendijo Moisés varón de Dios á los hijos de Israel, antes que muriese.
2Y dijo: Jehová vino de Sinaí, y de Seir les esclareció; resplandeció del monte de Parán, y vino con diez mil santos: á su diestra la ley de fuego para ellos.
3Aun amó los pueblos; todos sus santos en tu mano: ellos también se llegaron á tus pies: recibieron de tus dichos.
4Ley nos mandó Moisés, heredad á la congregación de Jacob.
5Y fué rey en Jeshurun, cuando se congregaron las cabezas del pueblo con las tribus de Israel.
6Viva Rubén, y no muera; y sean sus varones en número.
7Y esta bendición para Judá. Dijo así: Oye, oh Jehová, la voz de Judá, y llévalo á su pueblo; sus manos le basten, y tú seas ayuda contra sus enemigos.
8Y á Leví dijo: Tu Thummim y tu Urim, con tu buen varón, al cual tentaste en Massa, y le hiciste reñir en las aguas de la rencilla;
9El que dijo á su padre y á su madre: Nunca los vi: ni conoció á sus hermanos, ni conoció á sus hijos: por lo cual ellos guardarán tus palabras, y observarán tu pacto.
10Ellos enseñarán tus juicios á Jacob, y tu ley á Israel; pondrán el perfume delante de ti, y el holocausto sobre tu altar.
11Bendice, oh Jehová, lo que hicieren, y recibe con agrado la obra de sus manos: hiere los lomos de sus enemigos, y de los que le aborrecieren; para que nunca se levanten.
12Y á Benjamín dijo: El amado de Jehová habitará confiado cerca de él; cubrirálo siempre, y entre sus hombros morará.
13Y á José dijo: Bendita de Jehová su tierra, por los regalos de los cielos, por el rocío, y por el abismo que abajo yace,
14Y por los regalados frutos del sol, y por los regalos de las influencias de las lunas,
15Y por la cumbre de los montes antiguos, y por los regalos de los collados eternos,
16Y por los regalos de la tierra y su plenitud; y la gracia del que habitó en la zarza venga sobre la cabeza de José, y sobre la mollera del apartado de sus hermanos.
17El es aventajado como el primogénito de su toro, y sus cuernos, cuernos de unicornio: con ellos acorneará los pueblos juntos hasta los fines de la tierra: y estos son los diez millares de Ephraim, y estos los millares de Manasés.
18Y á Zabulón dijo: Alégrate, Zabulón, cuando salieres: y tú, Issachâr, en tus tiendas.
19Llamarán los pueblos al monte; allí sacrificarán sacrificios de justicia: por lo cual chuparán la abundancia de los mares, y los tesoros escondidos de la arena.
20Y á Gad dijo: Bendito el que hizo ensanchar á Gad: como león habitará, y arrebatará brazo y testa.
21Y él se ha provisto de la parte primera, porque allí una porción del legislador fuéle reservada, y vino en la delantera del pueblo; la justicia de Jehová ejecutará, y sus juicios con Israel.
22Y á Dan dijo: Dan, cachorro de león: saltará desde Basán.
23Y á Nephtalí dijo: Nephtalí, saciado de benevolencia, y lleno de la bendición de Jehová, posee el occidente y el mediodía.
24Y á Aser dijo: Bendito Aser en hijos: agradable será á sus hermanos, y mojará en aceite su pie.
25Hierro y metal tu calzado, y como tus días tu fortaleza.
26No hay como el Dios de Jeshurun, montado sobre los cielos para tu ayuda, y sobre las nubes con su grandeza.
27El eterno Dios es tu refugio, y acá abajo los brazos eternos; él echará de delante de ti al enemigo, y dirá: Destruye.
28E Israel, fuente de Jacob, habitará confiado solo en tierra de grano y de vino: también sus cielos destilarán rocío.
29Bienaventurado tú, oh Israel, ¿quién como tú, pueblo salvo por Jehová, escudo de tu socorro, y espada de tu excelencia? Así que tus enemigos serán humillados, y tú hollarás sobre sus alturas.

1And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
4Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
5And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
6Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
7And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.
8And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
10They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.
11Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands: smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
12And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
13And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
18And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
20And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.
21And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.
22And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
23And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.
24And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
25Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
26There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
28Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
29Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
World English Bible
1This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2He said, “The LORD came from Sinai, and rose from Seir to them. He shone from Mount Paran. He came from the ten thousands of holy ones. At his right hand was a fiery law for them.
3Yes, he loves the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.
4Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.
5He was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people were gathered, all the tribes of Israel together.
6“Let Reuben live, and not die; Nor let his men be few.”
7This is for Judah. He said, “Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah. Bring him in to his people. With his hands he contended for himself. You shall be a help against his adversaries.”
8About Levi he said, “Your Thummim and your Urim are with your godly one, whom you proved at Massah, with whom you contended at the waters of Meribah.
9He said of his father, and of his mother, ‘I have not seen him.’ He didn’t acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
10They shall teach Jacob your ordinances, and Israel your law. They shall put incense before you, and whole burnt offering on your altar.
11LORD, bless his skills. Accept the work of his hands. Strike through the hips of those who rise up against him, of those who hate him, that they not rise again.”
12About Benjamin he said, “The beloved of the LORD will dwell in safety by him. He covers him all day long. He dwells between his shoulders.”
13About Joseph he said, “His land is blessed by the LORD, for the precious things of the heavens, for the dew, for the deep that couches beneath,
14for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, for the precious things that the moon can yield,
15for the best things of the ancient mountains, for the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16for the precious things of the earth and its fullness, the good will of him who lived in the bush. Let this come on the head of Joseph, on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.
17Majesty belongs to the firstborn of his herd. His horns are the horns of the wild ox. With them he will push all the peoples to the ends of the earth. They are the ten thousands of Ephraim. They are the thousands of Manasseh.”
18About Zebulun he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out; and Issachar, in your tents.
19They will call the peoples to the mountain. There they will offer sacrifices of righteousness, for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, the hidden treasures of the sand.”
20About Gad he said, “He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness, and tears the arm and the crown of the head.
21He provided the first part for himself, for the lawgiver’s portion was reserved for him. He came with the heads of the people. He executed the righteousness of the LORD, His ordinances with Israel.”
22About Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s cub that leaps out of Bashan.”
23About Naphtali he said, “Naphtali, satisfied with favor, full of the LORD’s blessing, Possess the west and the south.”
24About Asher he said, “Asher is blessed with children. Let him be acceptable to his brothers. Let him dip his foot in oil.
25Your bars will be iron and bronze. As your days, so your strength will be.
26“There is no one like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.
27The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said, ‘Destroy!’
28Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
29You are happy, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency? Your enemies will submit themselves to you. You will tread on their high places.”
