And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
The LORD said to me, “Don’t fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people and his land, into your hand. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”
El Señor nuestro Dios nos entregó a Og, rey de Basán, y a todo su ejército. Los matamos y no dejamos sobrevivientes.

And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;

Fue entonces cuando nos hicimos cargo de la tierra. Asigné a las tribus de Rubén y Gad la tierra al norte del pueblo de Aroer en el valle del Arnón, y la mitad de la región montañosa de Galaad, junto con sus pueblos.
Y esta tierra que heredamos entonces desde Aroer, que está al arroyo de Arnón, y la mitad del monte de Galaad con sus ciudades, dí á los Rubenitas y á los Gaditas:
And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

El río Jordán en la Arabá lo bordeaba por el Oeste, desde el Mar de Galilea hasta el Mar de la Arabá (el Mar Muerto). Al Este se encontraban las laderas de la cordillera del Pisga.
Asimismo la campiña, y el Jordán, y el término, desde Cinereth hasta la mar del llano, el mar Salado, las vertientes abajo del Pisga al oriente.
The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdoth-pisgah eastward.

Fue entonces cuando les di estas instrucciones: “El Señor su Dios les ha dado este país como suyo para que lo posean. Todos sus guerreros deben cruzar, listos para la batalla, guiando a sus compañeros israelitas.
Y os mandé entonces, diciendo: Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado esta tierra para que la poseáis: pasaréis armados delante de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Israel todos los valientes.

hasta que el Señor le dé la victoria a sus hermanos israelitas y tengan paz, como la tienen ustedes, después de apoderarse de la tierra que el Señor les da al otro lado del Jordán. Entonces todos podrán volver a la tierra que les he dado para que la posean”.
Hasta que Jehová dé reposo á vuestros hermanos, así como á vosotros, y hereden también ellos la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios les da á la otra parte del Jordán: entonces os volveréis cada uno á su heredad que yo os he dado.
Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

Esta fue la vez que le ordené a Josué: “Has visto con tus propios ojos todo lo que el Señor tu Dios hizo a estos dos reyes. El Señor hará lo mismo con todos los reinos a los que vas.
Mandé también á Josué entonces, diciendo: Tus ojos vieron todo lo que Jehová vuestro Dios ha hecho á aquellos dos reyes: así hará Jehová á todos los reinos á los cuales pasarás tú.
And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

No tengas miedo de ellos, porque el Señor tu Dios mismo estará luchando a tu lado”.
No los temáis; que Jehová vuestro Dios, él es el que pelea por vosotros.
Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.
You shall not fear them; for the LORD your God himself fights for you.”
Este fue también el momento en que supliqué al Señor, diciendo,
Y oré á Jehová en aquel tiempo, diciendo:
And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,
I begged GOD at that time, saying,
“Señor Dios, apenas has empezado a mostrar tu poder y tu grandeza a mí, tu siervo. ¿Qué dios en el cielo o en la tierra tiene la increíble habilidad de hacer los actos poderosos que tú haces?
Señor Jehová, tú has comenzado á mostrar á tu siervo tu grandeza, y tu mano fuerte: porque ¿qué dios hay en el cielo ni en la tierra que haga según tus obras, y según tus valentías?
O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
“Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do works like yours, and mighty acts like yours?
Por favor, déjame cruzar el Jordán y ver la buena tierra de allí, las hermosas colinas y las montañas del Líbano!”
Pase yo, ruégote, y vea aquella tierra buena, que está á la parte allá del Jordán, aquel buen monte, y el Líbano.
I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.
Please let me go over and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that fine mountain, and Lebanon.”
Pero el Señor se enfadó conmigo por culpa de ustedes y se negó a escucharme. “Ya basta”, me dijo. “No me hables más de esto.
Mas Jehová se había enojado contra mí por causa de vosotros, por lo cual no me oyó: y díjome Jehová: Bástate, no me hables más de este negocio.
But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

Sube a la cima del monte y mira al Oeste, al norte, al sur y al Este. Contempla la tierra con tus propios ojos, porque no vas a cruzar este Jordán.

Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

En vez de eso, pon a Josué a cargo porque es él quien cruzará, guiando al pueblo y ayudándoles a apoderarse de la tierra que ves. Anímalo y apóyalo”.
Y manda á Josué, y anímalo, y confórtalo; porque él ha de pasar delante de este pueblo, y él les hará heredar la tierra que verás.
