46C’était de l’autre côté du Jourdain, dans la vallée, vis-à-vis de Beth-Peor, au pays de Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon, et qui fut battu par Moïse et les enfants d’Israël, après leur sortie d’Égypte.
