Cara á cara habló Jehová con vosotros en el monte de en medio del fuego,

Et moi, en ce temps-là, je me tenais entre le Seigneur et vous, pour vous rapporter les paroles du Seigneur ; car vous étiez épouvantés à l'aspect du feu, et vous ne montiez point sur la montagne ; et le Seigneur a dit :
(Yo estaba entonces entre Jehová y vosotros, para denunciaros la palabra de Jehová; porque vosotros tuvisteis temor del fuego, y no subisteis al monte;) diciendo:

Je suis le Seigneur ton Dieu qui t'ai fait sortir de la terre d'Egypte, de la maison de servitude.
Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te saqué de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos.
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Tu n'auras point d'autres dieux devant ma face.
No tendrás dioses extraños delante de mí.

Tu ne te feras point d'idoles, ni d'images d'aucune chose existant dans le ciel, sur la terre, sous la terre et dans les eaux.
No harás para ti escultura, ni imagen alguna de cosa que está arriba en los cielos, ó abajo en la tierra, ó en las aguas debajo de la tierra:
Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

Et faisant miséricorde, pendant des milliers de générations, à ceux qui m'aiment et qui observent mes commandements.

Tu ne prendras pas en vain le nom du Seigneur ton Dieu ; car le Seigneur ton Dieu ne regardera point comme pur celui qui aura pris son nom en vain.
No tomarás en vano el nombre de Jehová tu Dios; porque Jehová no dará por inocente al que tomare en vano su nombre.

Sois attentif le jour du sabbat a le sanctifier, comme te l'a prescrit le Seigneur ton Dieu.
Guardarás el día del reposo para santificarlo, como Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado.

Souviens-toi que tu étais esclave en Egypte, et que le Seigneur Dieu t'en a fait sortir par une main puissante, par un bras très-haut ; c'est pourquoi le Seigneur ton Dieu te commande d'observer le jour du sabbat et de le sanctifier.

Tu ne convoiteras pas la femme de ton prochain ; tu ne convoiteras pas la maison de ton prochain, ni son champ, ni son serviteur, ni sa servante, ni son bœuf, ni son âne, ni aucune de ses bêtes, ni rien de ce qui est à ton prochain.
No codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, ni desearás la casa de tu prójimo, ni su tierra, ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni ninguna cosa que sea de tu prójimo.
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Telles sont les paroles que le Seigneur a dites en la montagne, devant toute votre synagogue, au milieu du feu ; alentour, il y avait obscurité, ténèbres, tempête, grands éclats de tonnerre ; et il n'y a rien ajouté, et il a gravé ces paroles sur deux tables de pierre, et il me les a données.
Estas palabras habló Jehová á toda vuestra congregación en el monte, de en medio del fuego, de la nube y de la oscuridad, á gran voz: y no añadió más. Y escribiólas en dos tablas de piedra, las cuales me dió á mí.

And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

Vous dites : Voilà que le Seigneur notre Dieu nous a montré sa gloire, et nous avons entendu sa voix du milieu du feu ; nous savons aujourd'hui que le Seigneur Dieu peut parler à un homme, et celui-ci vivre encore.
Y dijisteis: He aquí, Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha mostrado su gloria y su grandeza, y hemos oído su voz de en medio del fuego: hoy hemos visto que Jehová habla al hombre, y éste vive.
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.

Maintenant, prends garde que nous ne mourions ; car ce grand feu va nous dévorer, si nous continuons d'écouter la voix du Seigneur notre Dieu, et nous périrons.
Ahora pues, ¿por qué moriremos? que este gran fuego nos consumirá: si tornáremos á oir la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios, moriremos.

For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

Approche-toi donc seul, écoute tout ce que dira le Seigneur notre Dieu, et tu nous répèteras tout ce que t'aura dit le Seigneur notre Dieu, et nous le saurons, et nous obéirons.
Llega tú, y oye todas las cosas que dijere Jehová nuestro Dios; y tú nos dirás todo lo que Jehová nuestro Dios te dijere, y nosotros oiremos y haremos.

Et le Seigneur ouït la rumeur de vos discours pendant que vous me parliez, et il me dit : j'ai ouï la rumeur des discours de ce peuple, j'ai entendu tout ce qu'il t'a dit ; et, en tout, il a bien parlé.
Y oyó Jehová la voz de vuestras palabras, cuando me hablabais; y díjome Jehová: He oído la voz de las palabras de este pueblo, que ellos te han hablado: bien está todo lo que han dicho.

¡Quién diera que tuviesen tal corazón, que me temiesen, y guardasen todos los días todos mis mandamientos, para que á ellos y á sus hijos les fuese bien para siempre!

Cependant, demeure auprès de moi, et je te dirai les commandements, les jugements et les ordonnances que tu auras à leur enseigner, afin qu'ils les mettent en pratique dans la terre que je leur donne pour héritage.
Y tú estáte aquí conmigo, y te diré todos los mandamientos, y estatutos, y derechos, que les has de enseñar, á fin que los pongan ahora por obra en la tierra que yo les doy para poseerla.

Soyez donc attentifs à vous conduire comme l'a prescrit le Seigneur votre Dieu ; ne vous écartez ni à droite ni à gauche,
Mirad, pues, que hagáis como Jehová vuestro Dios os ha mandado: no os apartéis á diestra ni á siniestra;
