CUANDO Jehová tu Dios te hubiere introducido en la tierra en la cual tú has de entrar para poseerla, y hubiere echado de delante de ti muchas gentes, al Hetheo, al Gergeseo, y al Amorrheo, y al Cananeo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo, siete naciones mayores y más fuertes que tú;
When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
When the LORD your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it, and casts out many nations before you—the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite—seven nations greater and mightier than you;
quand l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te les aura livrés et que tu les auras vaincus, tu les frapperas d'anathème. Point de pacte avec eux, point de merci pour eux!
Y Jehová tu Dios las hubiere entregado delante de ti, y las hirieres, del todo las destruirás: no harás con ellos alianza, ni las tomarás á merced.
And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

Car il détacherait ton fils de moi, et ils adoreraient des divinités étrangères, et la colère du Seigneur s'allumerait contre vous, et il vous aurait bientôt anéantis.
Porque desviará á tu hijo de en pos de mí, y servirán á dioses ajenos; y el furor de Jehová se encenderá sobre vosotros, y te destruirá presto.
For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

Non, voici ce que vous devrez leur faire: vous renverserez leurs autels, vous briserez leurs monuments, vous abattrez leurs bosquets, vous livrerez leurs statues aux flammes.
Mas así habéis de hacer con ellos: sus altares destruiréis, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y cortaréis sus bosques, y quemaréis sus esculturas en el fuego.
But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

Car tu es un peuple consacré à l'Éternel, ton Dieu: il t'a choisi, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour lui être un peuple spécial entre tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre.
Porque tú eres pueblo santo á Jehová tu Dios: Jehová tu Dios te ha escogido para serle un pueblo especial, más que todos los pueblos que están sobre la haz de la tierra.
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
Si l'Éternel vous a préférés, vous a distingués, ce n'est pas que vous soyez plus nombreux que les autres peuples, car vous êtes le moindre de tous;

c'est parce que l'Éternel vous aime, parce qu'il est fidèle au serment qu'il a fait à vos aïeux; voilà pourquoi il vous a, d'un bras puissant, arrachés et sauvés de la maison de servitude, de la main de Pharaon, roi d'Egypte.

Pour prix de votre obéissance à ces lois et de votre fidélité à les accomplir, l'Éternel, votre Dieu, sera fidèle aussi au pacte de bienveillance qu'il a juré à vos pères.
Y será que, por haber oído estos derechos, y guardado y puéstolos por obra, Jehová tu Dios guardará contigo el pacto y la misericordia que juró á tus padres;
Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
It shall happen, because you listen to these ordinances and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the loving kindness which he swore to your fathers.

And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Tu seras béni entre tous les peuples; parmi toi comme parmi tes bêtes, aucun sexe ne sera stérile.

L'Éternel écartera de toi tout fléau; et toutes ces funestes plaies de l'Egypte, que tu connais bien, ce n'est pas à toi qu'il les infligera, mais à tes adversaires.
Y quitará Jehová de ti toda enfermedad; y todas las malas plagas de Egipto, que tú sabes, no las pondrá sobre ti, antes las pondrá sobre todos los que te aborrecieren.
And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Tu anéantiras donc tous les peuples que te livre l'Éternel, ton Dieu, sans laisser ton œil s'attendrir sur eux, de peur que tu n'adores leurs divinités; car ce serait un piège pour toi.
Y consumirás á todos los pueblos que te da Jehová tu Dios: no los perdonará tu ojo; ni servirás á sus dioses, que te será tropiezo.
And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.
You shall consume all the peoples whom the LORD your God shall deliver to you. Your eye shall not pity them. You shall not serve their gods; for that would be a snare to you.
Peut-être diras-tu en ton cœur: "Ces nations-là sont plus considérables que moi; comment pourrai-je les déposséder?"
Cuando dijeres en tu corazón: Estas gentes son muchas más que yo, ¿cómo las podré desarraigar?;
If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?

Ne les crains point! Souviens-toi sans cesse de ce que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a fait à Pharaon et à toute l'Egypte;
No tengas temor de ellos: acuérdate bien de lo que hizo Jehová tu Dios con Faraón y con todo Egipto;
Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;

des grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues; de ces signes et de ces prodiges, de cette main puissante et de ce bras étendu, par lesquels t'a émancipé l'Éternel, ton Dieu. Ainsi fera-t-il de tous les peuples que tu pourrais craindre.
De las grandes pruebas que vieron tus ojos, y de las señales y milagros, y de la mano fuerte y brazo extendido con que Jehová tu Dios te sacó: así hará Jehová tu Dios con todos los pueblos de cuya presencia tú temieres.

No desmayes delante de ellos, que Jehová tu Dios está en medio de ti, Dios grande y terrible.
Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

L'Éternel, ton Dieu, écartera ces peuples de devant toi, mais peu à peu; tu ne pourras pas les détruire rapidement, car les bêtes sauvages se multiplieraient autour de toi.
Y Jehová tu Dios echará á estas gentes de delante de ti poco á poco: no las podrás acabar luego, porque las bestias del campo no se aumenten contra ti.
And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

Mais l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les mettra à ta merci; il répandra parmi eux un grand trouble, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient détruits.

Les images de leurs divinités, vous les détruirez par le feu. Ne cède pas à la tentation de garder l'argent ou l'or qui les couvre, il ferait ton malheur; car il est en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu,
Las esculturas de sus dioses quemarás en el fuego: no codiciarás plata ni oro de sobre ellas para tomarlo para ti, porque no tropieces en ello, pues es abominación á Jehová tu Dios;
The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
You shall burn the engraved images of their gods with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourself, lest you be snared in it; for it is an abomination to the LORD your God.
et tu ne dois pas apporter une abomination dans ta demeure, tu serais anathème comme elle: déteste-la, repousse-la avec horreur, elle est vouée à l'anathème!
Y no meterás abominación en tu casa, porque no seas anatema como ello; del todo lo aborrecerás y lo abominarás; porque es anatema.
Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
You shall not bring an abomination into your house and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it. You shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing.
