Ten cuidado de seguir todos los mandamientos que te doy hoy para que vivas y tengas muchos descendientes, y para que vayas y te apoderes del país que el Señor prometió darles a tus antepasados.
CUIDARÉIS de poner por obra todo mandamiento que yo os ordeno hoy, porque viváis, y seáis multiplicados, y entréis, y poseáis la tierra, de la cual juró Jehová á vuestros padres.

Recuerda cómo durante estos cuarenta años el Señor tu Dios te ha llevado por todo el desierto, humillándote y poniéndote a prueba para saber en qué estabas pensando realmente y si ibas a cumplir sus mandamientos o no.
Y acordarte has de todo el camino por donde te ha traído Jehová tu Dios estos cuarenta años en el desierto, para afligirte, por probarte, para saber lo que estaba en tu corazón, si habías de guardar ó no sus mandamientos.
And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
Te humilló y, cuando tuviste hambre, te dio a comer maná, que nadie, ni siquiera tú y tus antepasados, habían tenido antes. Esto fue para dejarte claro que los seres humanos no viven sólo de comer pan, sino de toda palabra que sale de la boca del Señor.
Y te afligió, é hízote tener hambre, y te sustentó con maná, comida que no conocías tú, ni tus padres la habían conocido; para hacerte saber que el hombre no vivirá de solo pan, mas de todo lo que sale de la boca de Jehová vivirá el hombre.
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the LORD’s mouth.
Durante estos cuarenta años tu ropa no se desgastó y tus pies no se hincharon.
Tu vestido nunca se envejeció sobre ti, ni el pie se te ha hinchado por estos cuarenta años.
Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

Así que debes darte cuenta de que así como un padre disciplina a su hijo, el Señor tu Dios te disciplina a ti.
Reconoce asimismo en tu corazón, que como castiga el hombre á su hijo, así Jehová tu Dios te castiga.
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.
Por eso debes guardar los mandamientos del Señor tu Dios, siguiendo sus caminos y respetándolo.
Guardarás, pues, los mandamientos de Jehová tu Dios, andando en sus caminos, y temiéndolo.
Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

Porque el Señor tu Dios te lleva a un buen país. Es una tierra de arroyos, estanques y manantiales que fluyen por los valles y bajan por las colinas;

For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

Es una tierra que produce trigo, cebada, vides, higueras, granadas, aceite de oliva y miel.

Es una tierra en la que no se agotan los alimentos, en la que se tiene todo lo necesario; una tierra cuyas rocas contienen mineral de hierro y cuyas colinas pueden ser explotadas para obtener cobre.
Tierra en la cual no comerás el pan con escasez, no te faltará nada en ella; tierra que sus piedras son hierro, y de sus montes cortarás metal.

Cuando comas y te sacies, dale las gracias al Señor tu Dios por la buena tierra que te ha dado.
Y comerás y te hartarás, y bendecirás á Jehová tu Dios por la buena tierra que te habrá dado.
When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

Asegúrate de no olvidar al Señor tu Dios desobedeciendo sus mandamientos y reglas que te doy hoy.
Guárdate, que no te olvides de Jehová tu Dios, para no observar sus mandamientos, y sus derechos, y sus estatutos, que yo te ordeno hoy:
Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

Porque cuando comas y te sacies, cuando construyas casas hermosas para vivir,
Que quizá no comas y te hartes, y edifiques buenas casas en que mores,
Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

y cuando tus rebaños y manadas crezcan, y tu plata y oro se acumulen, y todas tus posesiones aumenten,

And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

entonces te enorgullecerás y te olvidarás del Señor tu Dios que te sacó de Egipto, de la prisión, de la casa de la esclavitud.
Y se eleve luego tu corazón, y te olvides de Jehová tu Dios, que te sacó de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos;
Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

Él te guió a través del inmenso y aterrador desierto con sus venenosas serpientes y escorpiones, una tierra seca y sin agua. Te trajo agua de una roca de pedernal.
Que te hizo caminar por un desierto grande y espantoso, de serpientes ardientes, y de escorpiones, y de sed, donde ningún agua había, y él te sacó agua de la roca del pedernal;

Te alimentó en el desierto con maná que tus antepasados nunca habían conocido, humillándote y poniéndote a prueba, para que al final te fuera bien en el futuro.
Que te sustentó con maná en el desierto, comida que tus padres no habían conocido, afligiéndote y probándote, para á la postre hacerte bien;
Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;
Puede que llegues a pensar: “Me hice rico con todo mi trabajo”.
Y digas en tu corazón: Mi poder y la fortaleza de mi mano me han traído esta riqueza.
And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.”
Pero recuerda que es el Señor su Dios quien les da la capacidad de haceros ricos, para cumplir su acuerdo que prometió a sus antepasados y que aún hoy existe.
Antes acuérdate de Jehová tu Dios: porque él te da el poder para hacer las riquezas, á fin de confirmar su pacto que juró á tus padres, como en este día.
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Si alguna vez te olvidasdel Señor tu Dios, y vas tras otros dioses, adorándolos e inclinándote ante ellos, les aseguro ahora mismo que morirán definitivamente.
Mas será, si llegares á olvidarte de Jehová tu Dios, y anduvieres en pos de dioses ajenos, y les sirvieres, y á ellos te encorvares, protéstolo hoy contra vosotros, que de cierto pereceréis.
And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

De la misma manera que el Señor destruyó las naciones mientras avanzabas, también morirás si no obedeces al Señor tu Dios.
Como las gentes que Jehová destruirá delante de vosotros, así pereceréis; por cuanto no habréis atendido á la voz de Jehová vuestro Dios.
As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.
As the nations that the LORD makes to perish before you, so you shall perish, because you wouldn’t listen to the LORD your God’s voice.
