Deuteronomio 9

Ecoute, Israël : tu vas traverser aujourd'hui le Jourdain, pour prendre le territoire de grandes nations beaucoup plus fortes que toi, et pour prendre de grandes villes, dont les remparts montent jusqu'au ciel,

OYE, Israel: tú estás hoy para pasar el Jordán, para entrar á poseer gentes más numerosas y más fuertes que tú, ciudades grandes y encastilladas hasta el cielo,

Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,

Hear, Israel! You are to pass over the Jordan today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to the sky,
