ehe denn der silberne Strick zerreißt und die goldene Schale zerspringt und der Krug am Born zerbricht und das Rad zerbrochen in den Brunnen stürzt

Antes que la cadena de plata se quiebre, y se rompa el cuenco de oro, y el cántaro se quiebre junto á la fuente, y la rueda sea rota sobre el pozo;

Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
