Eclesiastés 12

Acuérdate de Dios antes que se rompa el cordón de plata, o médula espinal, y se arrugue la venda de oro o membrana que envuelve el cerebro, y se haga pedazos el cántaro sobre la fuente y se quiebre la polea sobre la cisterna;

Antes que la cadena de plata se quiebre, y se rompa el cuenco de oro, y el cántaro se quiebre junto á la fuente, y la rueda sea rota sobre el pozo;

Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
