Man gedenkt eben des Frühern nicht mehr, und auch des Spätern, das noch kommen soll, wird man nicht mehr gedenken bei denen, die noch später sein werden!

There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
