Eclesiastés 2

Y ¿quién podrá decir si mi hijo va a ser sabio o necio? Pero todo lo que tengo irá a sus manos; ¡qué desalentador!

¿Y quién sabe si será sabio, ó necio, el que se enseñoreará de todo mi trabajo en que yo me afané, y en que ocupé debajo del sol mi sabiduría? Esto también es vanidad.

And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.
