Zum Lachen sprach ich, es sei unsinnig; und zur Freude, was sie denn schaffe!

A la risa dije: Enloqueces; y al placer: ¿De qué sirve esto?

I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What doeth it?

I said of laughter, “It is foolishness;” and of mirth, “What does it accomplish?”
