Y al cabo, ¿qué fruto saca el hombre de su trabajo?

He visto la pena que ha dado Dios a los hijos de los hombres para su tormento.

Todas las cosas que hizo Dios son buenas, usadas a su tiempo; y el Señor entregó al mundo a las vanas disputas de los hombres; de suerte que ninguno de ellos puede entender perfectamente las obras que Dios creó desde el principio hasta el fin.
Todo lo hizo hermoso en su tiempo: y aun el mundo dió en su corazón, de tal manera que no alcance el hombre la obra de Dios desde el principio hasta el cabo.
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

He visto debajo del sol, o en este mundo, la impiedad en el lugar del juicio, y la iniquidad en el puesto de la justicia;

Entiendo, pues, que no hay cosa mejor para el hombre que atender con alegría a sus ocupaciones, y que ésta es su suerte mientras vive. Porque ¿quién podrá ponerlo en estado de conocer lo que ha de acontecer después de sus días?
