Eclesiastés 5

Ne te hâte pas d'ouvrir la bouche et que ton cœur ne se presse pas de proférer des paroles devant Dieu, car Dieu est au ciel, et toi sur la terre. Que tes paroles soient donc peu nombreuses.

No te des priesa con tu boca, ni tu corazón se apresure á proferir palabra delante de Dios; porque Dios está en el cielo, y tú sobre la tierra: por tanto, sean pocas tus palabras.

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

Don’t be rash with your mouth, and don’t let your heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven, and you on earth. Therefore let your words be few.
