Gestatte deinem Mund nicht, dass er dein Fleisch sündigen lässt, und sprich nicht vor dem Engel: ja das war ein Versehen. Warum zürnt Gott †dann über deine Stimme und zerstört die Arbeit deiner Hände?

Mejor es que no prometas, que no que prometas y no pagues.

Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
