Eclesiastés 9

Denn ich habe solches alles zu Herzen genommen, zu forschen das alles, dad Gerechte und Weise sind und ihre Untertanen in Gottes Hand. Doch kennet kein Mensch weder die Liebe noch den Half, irgendeines, den er vor sich hat.

CIERTAMENTE dado he mi corazón á todas estas cosas, para declarar todo esto: que los justos y los sabios, y sus obras, están en la mano de Dios; y que no sabe el hombre ni el amor ni el odio por todo lo que pasa delante de él.

For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.

Es begegnet einem wie dem andern, dem Gerechten wie dem Gottlosen, dem Guten und Reinen wie dem Unreinen, dem der opfert, wie dem, der nicht opfert. Wie es dem Guten gehet, so gehet es auch dem Sunder. Wie es dem Meineidigen gehet, so gehet es auch dem, der den Eid furchtet.

Todo acontece de la misma manera á todos: un mismo suceso ocurre al justo y al impío; al bueno y al limpio y al no limpio; al que sacrifica, y al que no sacrifica: como el bueno, así el que peca; el que jura, como el que teme el juramento.

All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

Das ist ein boses Ding unter ailem, das unter der Sonne geschieht, daß es einem gehet wie dem andern; daher auch das Herz der Menschen voll Arges wird, und Torheit ist in ihrem Herzen, dieweil sie leben; danach müssen sie sterben.

Denn bei alien Lebendigen ist, das man wunschet, namlich Hoffnung; denn ein lebendiger Hund ist besser weder ein toter Lowe.

Aun hay esperanza para todo aquél que está entre los vivos; porque mejor es perro vivo que león muerto.

También su amor, y su odio y su envidia, feneció ya: ni tiene ya más parte en el siglo, en todo lo que se hace debajo del sol.

Brauche des Lebens mit deinem Weibe, das du lieb hast, solange du das eitle Leben hast, das dir Gott unter der Sonne gegeben hat, solange dein eitel Leben wahret; denn das ist dein Teil im Leben und in deiner Arbeit, die du tust unter der Sonne.

Auch weiß der Mensch seine Zeit nicht, sondern wie die Fische gefangen werden mit einem schadlichen Hamen, und wie die Vogel mit einem Strick gefangen werden, so werden auch die Menschen beruckt zur bosen Zeit, wenn sie plotzlich fiber sie fallt.

Ich habe auch diese Weisheit gesehen unter der Sonne, die mich groß deuchte,

Da sprach ich: Weisheit ist ja besser denn Starke. Noch ward des Armen Weisheit verachtet und seinen Worten nicht gehorcht.

Das macht der Weisen Worte gelten mehr bei den Stillen denn der Herren Schreien bei den Narren.

Las palabras del sabio con reposo son oídas, más que el clamor del señor entre los necios.

The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Denn Weisheit ist besser denn Hamisch; aber ein einiger Bube verderbet viel Gutes.
