Paul, apôtre de Jésus-Christ par la volonté de Dieu, aux saints qui sont †à Éphèse, et aux fidèles en Jésus-Christ :

grâce et paix vous soient données de la part de Dieu, notre Père, et du Seigneur Jésus-Christ.

Gracia sea á vosotros, y paz de Dios Padre nuestro, y del Señor Jesucristo.

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Béni soit Dieu, le Père de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, qui nous a bénis dans le Christ de toutes sortes de bénédictions spirituelles dans les cieux !

Bendito el Dios y Padre del Señor nuestro Jesucristo, el cual nos bendijo con toda bendición espiritual en lugares celestiales en Cristo:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

C'est en lui qu'il nous a choisis dès avant la création du monde, pour que nous soyons saints et irrépréhensibles devant lui,

Según nos escogió en él antes de la fundación del mundo, para que fuésemos santos y sin mancha delante de él en amor;

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love,

nous ayant, dans son amour, prédestinés à être ses fils adoptifs par Jésus-Christ, selon sa libre volonté,

Habiéndonos predestinado para ser adoptados hijos por Jesucristo á sí mismo, según el puro afecto de su voluntad,

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,

en faisant ainsi éclater la gloire de sa grâce, par laquelle il nous a rendus agréables à ses yeux en son †Fils bien-aimé.

Para alabanza de la gloria de su gracia, con la cual nos hizo aceptos en el Amado:

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved.

C'est en lui que nous avons la rédemption acquise par son sang, la rémission des péchés, selon la richesse de sa grâce,

En el cual tenemos redención por su sangre, la remisión de pecados por las riquezas de su gracia,

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

que Dieu a répandue abondamment sur nous en toute sagesse et intelligence,

Que sobreabundó en nosotros en toda sabiduría é inteligencia;

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

en nous faisant connaître le mystère de sa volonté, selon le libre dessein que s'était proposé sa bonté,

Descubriéndonos el misterio de su voluntad, según su beneplácito, que se había propuesto en sí mismo,

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

pour le réaliser lorsque la plénitude des temps serait accomplie, à savoir, de réunir toutes choses en Jésus-Christ, celles qui sont dans les cieux et celles qui sont sur la terre.

De reunir todas las cosas en Cristo, en la dispensación del cumplimiento de los tiempos, así las que están en los cielos, como las que están en la tierra:

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him.

C'est aussi en lui que nous avons été élus, ayant été prédestinés suivant la résolution de celui qui opère toutes choses d'après le conseil de sa volonté,

En él digo, en quien asimismo tuvimos suerte, habiendo sido predestinados conforme al propósito del que hace todas las cosas según el consejo de su voluntad,

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,

pour que nous servions à la louange de sa gloire, nous qui d'avance avons espéré dans le Christ.

Para que seamos para alabanza de su gloria, nosotros que antes esperamos en Cristo.

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ.

C'est en lui que vous-mêmes, après avoir entendu la parole de la vérité, L'Evangile de votre salut, c'est en lui, que vous avez cru et que vous avez été marqués du sceau du Saint-Esprit, qui avait été promis,

En el cual esperasteis también vosotros en oyendo la palabra de verdad, el evangelio de vuestra salud: en el cual también desde que creísteis, fuisteis sellados con el Espíritu Santo de la promesa,

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation—in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

et qui est une arrhe de notre héritage, en attendant la pleine rédemption de ceux que Dieu s'est acquis, à la louange de sa gloire.

Que es las arras de nuestra herencia, para la redención de la posesión adquirida para alabanza de su gloria.

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

C'est pourquoi, ayant entendu parler de votre foi dans le Seigneur Jésus et de votre charité pour tous les saints,

Por lo cual también yo, habiendo oído de vuestra fe en el Señor Jesús, y amor para con todos los santos,

Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you and the love which you have toward all the saints,

je ne cesse, moi aussi, de rendre grâces pour vous, et de faire mémoire de vous dans mes prières,

No ceso de dar gracias por vosotros, haciendo memoria de vosotros en mis oraciones;

Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

afin que le Dieu de Notre-Seigneur Jésus-Christ, le Père de la gloire, vous donne un esprit de sagesse qui vous révèle sa connaissance,

Que el Dios del Señor nuestro Jesucristo, el Padre de gloria, os dé espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación para su conocimiento;

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him,

et qu'il éclaire les yeux de votre cœur, pour que vous sachiez quelle est l'espérance à laquelle il vous a appelés, quelles sont les richesses de la gloire de son héritage réservé aux saints,

Alumbrando los ojos de vuestro entendimiento, para que sepáis cuál sea la esperanza de su vocación, y cuáles las riquezas de la gloria de su herencia en los santos,

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

et quelle est, envers nous qui croyons, la suréminente grandeur de sa puissance, attestée par l'efficacité de sa force victorieuse.

Y cuál aquella supereminente grandeza de su poder para con nosotros los que creemos, por la operación de la potencia de su fortaleza,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

Cette force, il l'a déployée dans le Christ, lorsqu'il l'a ressuscité des morts et l'a fait asseoir à sa droite dans les cieux,

La cual obró en Cristo, resucitándole de los muertos, y colocándole á su diestra en los cielos,

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

au-dessus de toute principauté, de toute autorité, de toute puissance, de toute domination et de tout ce qui se peut nommer, non seulement dans le siècle présent, mais encore dans le siècle à venir.

Sobre todo principado, y potestad, y potencia, y señorío, y todo nombre que se nombra, no sólo en este siglo, mas aun en el venidero:

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.

Il a tout mis sous ses pieds et il l'a donné pour chef suprême à l'Eglise,

Y sometió todas las cosas debajo de sus pies, y diólo por cabeza sobre todas las cosas á la iglesia,

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,

qui est son corps, la plénitude de celui qui remplit tout en tous.

La cual es su cuerpo, la plenitud de Aquel que hinche todas las cosas en todos.

Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
