Bible Darby
1Je vous exhorte donc, moi, le prisonnier dans le Seigneur, à marcher d’une manière digne de l’appel dont vous avez été appelés,
2avec toute humilité et douceur, avec longanimité, vous supportant l’un l’autre dans l’amour ;
3vous appliquant à garder l’unité de l’Esprit par le lien de la paix.
4[Il y a] un seul corps et un seul Esprit, comme aussi vous avez été appelés pour une seule espérance de votre appel.
5[Il y a] un seul Seigneur, une seule foi, un seul baptême.
6[Il y a] un seul Dieu et Père de tous, qui est au-dessus de tout, et partout, et en nous tous.
7Mais à chacun de nous la grâce a été donnée selon la mesure du don de Christ.
8C’est pourquoi il dit : « Étant monté en haut, il a emmené captive la captivité, et a donné des dons aux hommes ».
9Or, qu’il soit monté, qu’est-ce, sinon qu’il est aussi descendu dans les parties inférieures de la terre ?
10Celui qui est descendu est le même que celui qui est aussi monté au-dessus de tous les cieux, afin qu’il remplisse toutes choses ;
11et lui, a donné les uns [comme] apôtres, les autres [comme] prophètes, les autres [comme] évangélistes, les autres [comme] pasteurs et docteurs ;
12en vue du perfectionnement des saints, pour l’œuvre du service, pour l’édification du corps de Christ ;
13jusqu’à ce que nous parvenions tous à l’unité de la foi et de la connaissance du Fils de Dieu, à l’état d’homme fait, à la mesure de la stature de la plénitude du Christ :
14afin que nous ne soyons plus de petits enfants, ballottés et emportés çà et là par tout vent de doctrine dans la tromperie des hommes, dans leur habileté à user de voies détournées pour égarer ;
15mais que, étant vrais dans l’amour, nous croissions en toutes choses jusqu’à lui qui est le chef, le Christ ;
16duquel tout le corps, bien ajusté et lié ensemble par chaque jointure du fournissement, produit, selon l’opération de chaque partie dans sa mesure, l’accroissement du corps pour l’édification de lui-même en amour.
17Voici donc ce que je dis et témoigne dans le Seigneur, c’est que vous ne marchiez plus comme le reste des nations marche, dans la vanité de leurs pensées,
18ayant leur entendement obscurci, étant étrangers à la vie de Dieu à cause de l’ignorance qui est en eux, à cause de l’endurcissement de leur cœur ;
19et qui, ayant perdu tout sentiment moral, se sont livrés à la débauche, pour pratiquer avidement toute impureté.
20Mais vous n’avez pas ainsi appris le Christ,
21si du moins vous l’avez entendu et avez été instruits en lui selon que la vérité est en Jésus :
22[c’est-à-dire], en ce qui concerne votre première manière de vivre, d’avoir dépouillé le vieil homme qui se corrompt selon les convoitises trompeuses,
23et d’être renouvelés dans l’esprit de votre entendement,
24et d’avoir revêtu le nouvel homme, créé selon Dieu, en justice et sainteté de la vérité.
25C’est pourquoi, ayant dépouillé le mensonge, parlez la vérité chacun à son prochain ; car nous sommes membres les uns des autres.
26Mettez-vous en colère et ne péchez pas : que le soleil ne se couche pas sur votre irritation ;
27et ne donnez pas occasion au diable.
28Que celui qui dérobait ne dérobe plus, mais plutôt qu’il travaille en faisant de ses propres mains ce qui est bon, afin qu’il ait de quoi donner à celui qui est dans le besoin.
29Qu’aucune parole déshonnête ne sorte de votre bouche, mais celle-là qui est bonne, [propre] à l’édification selon le besoin, afin qu’elle communique la grâce à ceux qui l’entendent.
30Et n’attristez pas le Saint Esprit de Dieu, par lequel vous avez été scellés pour le jour de la rédemption.
31Que toute amertume, et tout courroux, et toute colère, et toute crierie, et toute injure, soient ôtés du milieu de vous, de même que toute malice ;
32mais soyez bons les uns envers les autres, compatissants, vous pardonnant les uns aux autres comme Dieu aussi, en Christ, vous a pardonné.

1YO pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que sois llamados;
2Con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia soportando los unos á los otros en amor;
3Solícitos á guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.
4Un cuerpo, y un Espíritu; como sois también llamados á una misma esperanza de vuestra vocación:
5Un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,
6Un Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todas las cosas, y por todas las cosas, y en todos vosotros.
7Empero á cada uno de nosotros es dada la gracia conforme á la medida del don de Cristo.
8Por lo cual dice: Subiendo á lo alto, llevó cautiva la cautividad, y dió dones á los hombres.
9(Y que subió, ¿qué es, sino que también había descendido primero á las partes más bajas de la tierra?
10El que descendió, él mismo es el que también subió sobre todos los cielos para cumplir todas las cosas.)
11Y él mismo dió unos, ciertamente apóstoles; y otros, profetas; y otros, evangelistas; y otros, pastores y doctores;
12Para perfección de los santos, para la obra del ministerio, para edificación del cuerpo de Cristo;
13Hasta que todos lleguemos á la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, á un varón perfecto, á la medida de la edad de la plenitud de Cristo:
14Que ya no seamos niños fluctuantes, y llevados por doquiera de todo viento de doctrina, por estratagema de hombres que, para engañar, emplean con astucia los artificios del error:
15Antes siguiendo la verdad en amor, crezcamos en todas cosas en aquel que es la cabeza, á saber, Cristo;
16Del cual, todo el cuerpo compuesto y bien ligado entre sí por todas las junturas de su alimento, que recibe según la operación, cada miembro conforme á su medida toma aumento de cuerpo edificándose en amor.
17Esto pues digo, y requiero en el Señor, que no andéis más como los otros Gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su sentido,
18Teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón:
19Los cuales después que perdieron el sentido de la conciencia, se entregaron á la desvergüenza para cometer con avidez toda suerte de impureza.
20Mas vosotros no habéis aprendido así á Cristo:
21Si empero lo habéis oído, y habéis sido por él enseñados, como la verdad está en Jesús,
22A que dejéis, cuanto á la pasada manera de vivir, el viejo hombre que está viciado conforme á los deseos de error;
23Y á renovaros en el espíritu de vuestra mente,
24Y vestir el nuevo hombre que es criado conforme á Dios en justicia y en santidad de verdad.
25Por lo cual, dejada la mentira, hablad verdad cada uno con su prójimo; porque somos miembros los unos de los otros.
26Airaos, y no pequéis; no se ponga el sol sobre vuestro enojo;
27Ni deis lugar al diablo.
28El que hurtaba, no hurte más; antes trabaje, obrando con sus manos lo que es bueno, para que tenga de qué dar al que padeciere necesidad.
29Ninguna palabra torpe salga de vuestra boca, sino la que sea buena para edificación, para que dé gracia á los oyentes.
30Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, con el cual estáis sellados para el día de la redención.
31Toda amargura, y enojo, é ira, y voces, y maledicencia sea quitada de vosotros, y toda malicia:
32Antes sed los unos con los otros benignos, misericordiosos, perdonándoos los unos á los otros, como también Dios os perdonó en Cristo.

1I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20But ye have not so learned Christ;
21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27Neither give place to the devil.
28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
2with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
3being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,
5one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.
7But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”
9Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
11He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
12for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,
13until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
14that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
15but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,
16from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
17This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
18being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.
19They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20But you didn’t learn Christ that way,
21if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:
22that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,
23and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
25Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
26“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,
27and don’t give place to the devil.
28Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
29Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
30Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.
32And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
