Efesios 4

So ermahne ich euch denn, ich, der Gefangene im Herrn: Wandelt würdig der Berufung, die an euch ergangen ist,

YO pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que sois llamados;

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,

mit aller Demut und Sanftmut, mit Geduld als solche, die einander in Liebe ertragen,

Con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia soportando los unos á los otros en amor;

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

und seid eifrig bemüht, die Einheit des Geistes durch das Band des Friedens zu erhalten:

Solícitos á guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

ein Leib und ein Geist, wie ihr ja auch bei eurer Berufung aufgrund einer Hoffnung berufen worden seid;

Un cuerpo, y un Espíritu; como sois también llamados á una misma esperanza de vuestra vocación:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

ein Herr, ein Glaube, eine Taufe;

Un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,

ein Gott und Vater aller, der da ist über allen und durch alle (wirkt) und in allen (wohnt).

Un Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todas las cosas, y por todas las cosas, y en todos vosotros.

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Jedem einzelnen von uns aber ist die Gnade nach dem Maße verliehen worden, wie Christus sie ihm zugeteilt hat.

Empero á cada uno de nosotros es dada la gracia conforme á la medida del don de Cristo.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Daher heißt es ja auch: »Aufgestiegen in die Höhe, hat er Gefangene weggeführt und den Menschen Gaben verliehen.«

Por lo cual dice: Subiendo á lo alto, llevó cautiva la cautividad, y dió dones á los hombres.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”

Daß er aber hinaufgestiegen ist, welchen Sinn hat das als den, daß er auch (zuvor) in die niederen Gegenden der Erde hinabgestiegen ist?

(Y que subió, ¿qué es, sino que también había descendido primero á las partes más bajas de la tierra?

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

Er, der Hinabgestiegene, ist derselbe, der hoch über alle Himmel hinaus aufgestiegen ist, um das ganze Weltall zu erfüllen.

El que descendió, él mismo es el que también subió sobre todos los cielos para cumplir todas las cosas.)

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Und eben dieser ist es auch, der die einen zu Aposteln bestellt hat, andere zu Propheten, andere zu Evangelisten, noch andere zu Hirten und Lehrern,

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

um die Heiligen tüchtig zu machen für die Ausübung des Gemeindedienstes, für die Erbauung des Leibes Christi,

Para perfección de los santos, para la obra del ministerio, para edificación del cuerpo de Cristo;

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,

bis wir endlich allesamt zur Einheit des Glaubens und der Erkenntnis des Sohnes Gottes gelangen, zur vollkommenen Mannesreife, zum Vollmaß des Wuchses in der Fülle Christi.

Hasta que todos lleguemos á la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, á un varón perfecto, á la medida de la edad de la plenitud de Cristo:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

Denn wir sollen nicht länger unmündige Kinder sein, die von jedem Wind der Lehre durch das Trugspiel der Menschen, die mit Arglist auf Irreführung ausgehen, wie Meereswogen hin und her geworfen und umhergetrieben werden;

Que ya no seamos niños fluctuantes, y llevados por doquiera de todo viento de doctrina, por estratagema de hombres que, para engañar, emplean con astucia los artificios del error:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

vielmehr sollen wir, die Wahrheit übend, in Liebe in allen Stücken in ihn hineinwachsen, der das Haupt ist, Christus;

Antes siguiendo la verdad en amor, crezcamos en todas cosas en aquel que es la cabeza, á saber, Cristo;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,

denn von ihm aus wird der ganze Leib fest zusammengefügt und zusammengehalten und vollzieht durch jedes Glied, das seinen Dienst nach der Wirksamkeit verrichtet, die dem Maß jedes einzelnen Teiles entspricht, das Wachstum des Leibes zu seinem eigenen Aufbau in Liebe.

Del cual, todo el cuerpo compuesto y bien ligado entre sí por todas las junturas de su alimento, que recibe según la operación, cada miembro conforme á su medida toma aumento de cuerpo edificándose en amor.

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

So sage ich also folgendes und spreche die ernste Mahnung im Herrn aus: Wandelt nicht mehr so, wie die Heiden in der Nichtigkeit ihres Sinnes wandeln!

Esto pues digo, y requiero en el Señor, que no andéis más como los otros Gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su sentido,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

Sie sind ja in ihrem (ganzen) Denken verfinstert, dem Leben Gottes entfremdet infolge der Unwissenheit, die in ihnen wegen der Verstocktheit ihres Herzens wohnt.

Teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón:

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.

Sittlich völlig abgestumpft, haben sie sich dem Genußleben hingegeben zur Verübung jeder Art von Unsittlichkeit in Verbindung mit Habgier.

Los cuales después que perdieron el sentido de la conciencia, se entregaron á la desvergüenza para cometer con avidez toda suerte de impureza.

Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Ihr aber habt Christus nicht so kennengelernt,

Mas vosotros no habéis aprendido así á Cristo:

But ye have not so learned Christ;

But you didn’t learn Christ that way,

wenn ihr überhaupt von ihm gehört habt und in ihm so unterwiesen worden seid, wie es Wahrheit in Jesus ist:

Si empero lo habéis oído, y habéis sido por él enseñados, como la verdad está en Jesús,

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:

daß ihr nämlich im Hinblick auf den früheren Lebenswandel den alten Menschen ablegen müßt, der sich infolge der trügerischen Begierden zugrunde richtet,

A que dejéis, cuanto á la pasada manera de vivir, el viejo hombre que está viciado conforme á los deseos de error;

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,

daß ihr dagegen im tiefsten Inneren eures Geisteslebens erneuert werden müßt

Y á renovaros en el espíritu de vuestra mente,

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

und den neuen Menschen anziehet, der nach Gottes Ebenbild geschaffen ist in wahrhafter Gerechtigkeit und Reinheit.

Y vestir el nuevo hombre que es criado conforme á Dios en justicia y en santidad de verdad.

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Darum leget die Lüge ab und »redet die Wahrheit, ein jeder mit seinem Nächsten«; wir sind ja untereinander Glieder (desselben Leibes). –

Por lo cual, dejada la mentira, hablad verdad cada uno con su prójimo; porque somos miembros los unos de los otros.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

»Zürnet ihr, so sündiget dabei nicht«; laßt die Sonne über eurem Zorn nicht untergehen

Airaos, y no pequéis; no se ponga el sol sobre vuestro enojo;

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,

und gebt dem Verleumder keinen Raum! –

Ni deis lugar al diablo.

Neither give place to the devil.

and don’t give place to the devil.

Der Dieb stehle fortan nicht mehr, sondern arbeite vielmehr angestrengt und erwerbe mit seiner Hände Arbeit das Gute, damit er imstande ist, den Notleidenden zu unterstützen. –

El que hurtaba, no hurte más; antes trabaje, obrando con sus manos lo que es bueno, para que tenga de qué dar al que padeciere necesidad.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.

Laßt keine faule Rede aus eurem Munde hervorgehen, sondern nur eine solche, die da, wo es nottut, zur Erbauung dient, damit sie den Hörern Segen bringe.

Ninguna palabra torpe salga de vuestra boca, sino la que sea buena para edificación, para que dé gracia á los oyentes.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Und betrübt nicht den heiligen Geist Gottes, mit dem ihr auf den Tag der Erlösung versiegelt seid. –

Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, con el cual estáis sellados para el día de la redención.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Alle Bitterkeit, aller Zorn und Groll, alles Schreien und Schmähen sei aus eurer Mitte weggetan, überhaupt alles boshafte Wesen.

Toda amargura, y enojo, é ira, y voces, y maledicencia sea quitada de vosotros, y toda malicia:

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.

Zeigt euch vielmehr gütig und herzlich gegeneinander, und vergebt einer dem andern, wie auch Gott euch in Christus vergeben hat!

Antes sed los unos con los otros benignos, misericordiosos, perdonándoos los unos á los otros, como también Dios os perdonó en Cristo.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
