Efesios 4

Eu lhes suplico, como prisioneiro que serve o Senhor, que vivam e se comportem de maneira digna daqueles que foram escolhidos para receber bênçãos tão maravilhosas como essas.

YO pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que sois llamados;

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,

Sejam humildes e amáveis. Sejam pacientes, tendo tolerância uns pelos outros por causa do amor entre vocês.

Con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia soportando los unos á los otros en amor;

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

Procurem de todas as formas conservar, por meio da paz que une vocês, a unidade que o Espírito dá.

Solícitos á guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Nós somos todos membros de um só corpo, temos o mesmo Espírito e uma só esperança para a qual todos fomos chamados.

Un cuerpo, y un Espíritu; como sois también llamados á una misma esperanza de vuestra vocación:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Há um só Senhor, uma só fé, um só batismo,

Un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

um só Deus e Pai, o qual está sobre todos nós e em todos nós, agindo por meio de todos nós.

Un Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todas las cosas, y por todas las cosas, y en todos vosotros.

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all.

Entretanto, Cristo concedeu aptidões especiais a cada um — qualquer coisa que ele deseja que recebamos do seu rico depósito de dons.

Empero á cada uno de nosotros es dada la gracia conforme á la medida del don de Cristo.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Por isso foi dito: “Quando ele subiu triunfalmente ao céu, levou consigo muitos prisioneiros e concedeu dons aos homens”.

Por lo cual dice: Subiendo á lo alto, llevó cautiva la cautividad, y dió dones á los hombres.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”

Notem que diz que ele subiu ao céu; isso significa que primeiramente ele desceu das alturas do céu, até as regiões mais inferiores da terra.

(Y que subió, ¿qué es, sino que también había descendido primero á las partes más bajas de la tierra?

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

Aquele que desceu é o mesmo que subiu acima de todos os céus, a fim de que pudesse encher consigo mesmo, em toda parte, todas as coisas.

El que descendió, él mismo es el que también subió sobre todos los cielos para cumplir todas las cosas.)

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

E ele escolheu alguns para apóstolos, outros para profetas, outros para evangelistas; outros, ainda, para pastores e mestres.

Y él mismo dió unos, ciertamente apóstoles; y otros, profetas; y otros, evangelistas; y otros, pastores y doctores;

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;

Ele fez isso para que o povo de Deus esteja mais bem aparelhado para fazer uma obra melhor para ele, edificando a igreja — o corpo de Cristo — e elevando-a a uma condição de vigor e maturidade;

Para perfección de los santos, para la obra del ministerio, para edificación del cuerpo de Cristo;

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,

até que finalmente todos tenhamos a mesma fé quanto à nossa salvação e quanto ao conhecimento de nosso Salvador, o Filho de Deus, e todos nos tornemos maduros no Senhor. Sim, para que cresçamos a ponto de que Cristo ocupe completamente todo o nosso ser.

Hasta que todos lleguemos á la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, á un varón perfecto, á la medida de la edad de la plenitud de Cristo:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

Então não seremos mais como crianças, sempre mudando nossa ideia a respeito daquilo que cremos porque alguém nos disse uma coisa diferente, ou habilmente mentiu para nós, e fez que a mentira soasse como verdade.

Que ya no seamos niños fluctuantes, y llevados por doquiera de todo viento de doctrina, por estratagema de hombres que, para engañar, emplean con astucia los artificios del error:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

Em vez disso, seguiremos com amor a verdade em todo tempo — falando com verdade, tratando com verdade, vivendo em verdade — e assim nos tornaremos cada vez mais, e de todas as maneiras, semelhantes a Cristo, que é o Cabeça do seu corpo, a igreja.

Antes siguiendo la verdad en amor, crezcamos en todas cosas en aquel que es la cabeza, á saber, Cristo;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,

Sob a direção dele todo o corpo se ajusta perfeitamente, e cada um dos membros em sua maneira particular auxilia os outros membros, de tal modo que todo o corpo seja saudável e cresça em amor.

Del cual, todo el cuerpo compuesto y bien ligado entre sí por todas las junturas de su alimento, que recibe según la operación, cada miembro conforme á su medida toma aumento de cuerpo edificándose en amor.

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Então, eu lhes digo isto, falando pelo Senhor: não vivam mais como os incrédulos, pois eles estão cegos e confundidos.

Esto pues digo, y requiero en el Señor, que no andéis más como los otros Gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su sentido,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

Seus corações fechados estão cheios de trevas; eles estão muito distantes da vida de Deus porque fecharam seus corações e não podem compreender seus caminhos.

Teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón:

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.

Não se preocupam mais com o que está certo ou errado e se entregaram a práticas impuras. Nada os detêm e são guiados pelas suas mentes malvadas e sua imoralidade desenfreada.

Los cuales después que perdieron el sentido de la conciencia, se entregaron á la desvergüenza para cometer con avidez toda suerte de impureza.

Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Esse, porém, não é o caminho que Cristo ensinou a vocês!

Mas vosotros no habéis aprendido así á Cristo:

But ye have not so learned Christ;

But you didn’t learn Christ that way,

Se realmente vocês ouviram sua voz e aprenderam de Jesus as verdades relacionadas a ele,

Si empero lo habéis oído, y habéis sido por él enseñados, como la verdad está en Jesús,

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:

então desfaçam-se dessa velha maneira de viver — a velha natureza que era parceira nos seus maus caminhos — completamente corrompida, cheia de imoralidade e engano.

A que dejéis, cuanto á la pasada manera de vivir, el viejo hombre que está viciado conforme á los deseos de error;

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,

Agora as suas atitudes e os seus pensamentos devem ser constantemente renovados.

Y á renovaros en el espíritu de vuestra mente,

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

Sim, vocês devem revestir-se do novo ser, criado por Deus, que é parecido com a sua natureza, santa e justa, proveniente da verdade.

Y vestir el nuevo hombre que es criado conforme á Dios en justicia y en santidad de verdad.

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Deixem de mentir uns aos outros; falem a verdade, pois somos membros do mesmo corpo.

Por lo cual, dejada la mentira, hablad verdad cada uno con su prójimo; porque somos miembros los unos de los otros.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

Quando estiverem irados, não pequem alimentando seu próprio rancor. Não deixem que o sol se ponha antes de resolverem as suas diferenças;

Airaos, y no pequéis; no se ponga el sol sobre vuestro enojo;

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,

não deem oportunidade para o diabo.

Ni deis lugar al diablo.

Neither give place to the devil.

and don’t give place to the devil.

Se alguém anda roubando deve parar com isso e começar a utilizar suas mãos para trabalhar honestamente, a fim de poder repartir com aqueles que estão necessitados.

El que hurtaba, no hurte más; antes trabaje, obrando con sus manos lo que es bueno, para que tenga de qué dar al que padeciere necesidad.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.

Evitem a boca suja. Digam só o que é bom e útil àqueles com quem vocês estiverem falando, e o que resulta em bênção para eles.

Ninguna palabra torpe salga de vuestra boca, sino la que sea buena para edificación, para que dé gracia á los oyentes.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Não façam o Espírito Santo entristecer-se pelo modo de vocês viverem. Lembrem-se que é ele quem garante que vocês estarão presentes no dia da redenção.

Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, con el cual estáis sellados para el día de la redención.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Abandonem toda a amargura, todo o ódio e toda a raiva. Evitem toda a gritaria, insultos e maldades.

Toda amargura, y enojo, é ira, y voces, y maledicencia sea quitada de vosotros, y toda malicia:

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.

Em vez disso, sejam bondosos uns para com os outros, compassivos, perdoando-se mutuamente, assim como Deus os perdoou por pertencerem a Cristo.

Antes sed los unos con los otros benignos, misericordiosos, perdonándoos los unos á los otros, como también Dios os perdonó en Cristo.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
