Efesios 4

So ermahne ich euch nun, ich, der Gebundene im Herrn, daß ihr würdig wandelt der Berufung, zu welcher ihr berufen worden seid,

YO pues, preso en el Señor, os ruego que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que sois llamados;

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,

so daß ihr mit aller Demut und Sanftmut, mit Geduld einander in Liebe ertraget

Con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia soportando los unos á los otros en amor;

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

und fleißig seid, die Einheit des Geistes zu bewahren in dem Bande des Friedens:

Solícitos á guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

ein Leib und ein Geist, wie ihr auch berufen seid zu einer Hoffnung eurer Berufung;

Un cuerpo, y un Espíritu; como sois también llamados á una misma esperanza de vuestra vocación:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling,

ein Herr, ein Glaube, eine Taufe;

Un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

ein Gott und Vater aller, über allen, durch alle und in allen.

Un Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todas las cosas, y por todas las cosas, y en todos vosotros.

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Jedem einzelnen von uns aber ist die Gnade gegeben nach dem Maß der Gabe Christi.

Empero á cada uno de nosotros es dada la gracia conforme á la medida del don de Cristo.

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

But to each one of us, the grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Darum heißt es: «Er ist aufgefahren zur Höhe, hat Gefangene gemacht und den Menschen Gaben gegeben.»

Por lo cual dice: Subiendo á lo alto, llevó cautiva la cautividad, y dió dones á los hombres.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”

Das †Wort aber «Er ist aufgefahren», was bedeutet es anderes, als daß er auch zuvor hinabgefahren ist in die untersten Örter der Erde?

(Y que subió, ¿qué es, sino que también había descendido primero á las partes más bajas de la tierra?

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Now this, “He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

Der hinabgefahren ist, ist derselbe, welcher auch hinaufgefahren ist über alle Himmel, damit er alles erfülle.

El que descendió, él mismo es el que también subió sobre todos los cielos para cumplir todas las cosas.)

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.

Und Er hat gegeben etliche zu Aposteln, etliche zu Propheten, etliche zu Evangelisten, etliche zu Hirten und Lehrern,

Y él mismo dió unos, ciertamente apóstoles; y otros, profetas; y otros, evangelistas; y otros, pastores y doctores;

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;

um die Heiligen zuzurüsten für das Werk des Dienstes, zur Erbauung des Leibes Christi,

Para perfección de los santos, para la obra del ministerio, para edificación del cuerpo de Cristo;

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,

bis daß wir alle zur Einheit des Glaubens und der Erkenntnis des Sohnes Gottes gelangen und zum vollkommenen Manne †werden, zum Maße der vollen Größe Christi;

Hasta que todos lleguemos á la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, á un varón perfecto, á la medida de la edad de la plenitud de Cristo:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

damit wir nicht mehr Unmündige seien, umhergeworfen und herumgetrieben von jedem Wind der Lehre, durch die Spielerei der Menschen, durch die Schlauheit, mit der sie zum Irrtum verführen,

Que ya no seamos niños fluctuantes, y llevados por doquiera de todo viento de doctrina, por estratagema de hombres que, para engañar, emplean con astucia los artificios del error:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

sondern †daß wir, wahrhaftig in der Liebe, heranwachsen in allen Stücken in ihm, der das Haupt ist, Christus,

Antes siguiendo la verdad en amor, crezcamos en todas cosas en aquel que es la cabeza, á saber, Cristo;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,

von welchem aus der ganze Leib, zusammengefügt und verbunden durch alle Gelenke, die einander Handreichung tun nach dem Maße der Leistungsfähigkeit jedes einzelnen Gliedes, das Wachstum des Leibes vollbringt, zur Auferbauung seiner selbst in Liebe.

Del cual, todo el cuerpo compuesto y bien ligado entre sí por todas las junturas de su alimento, que recibe según la operación, cada miembro conforme á su medida toma aumento de cuerpo edificándose en amor.

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Das sage und bezeuge ich nun im Herrn, daß ihr nicht mehr wandeln sollt, wie die Heiden wandeln in der Eitelkeit ihres Sinnes,

Esto pues digo, y requiero en el Señor, que no andéis más como los otros Gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su sentido,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

deren Verstand verfinstert ist und die entfremdet sind dem Leben Gottes, wegen der Unwissenheit, die in ihnen ist, wegen der Verhärtung ihres Herzens;

Teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón:

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts.

die, nachdem sie alles Gefühl verloren, sich der Ausschweifung ergeben haben, zur Ausübung jeder †Art von Unreinigkeit mit unersättlicher Gier.

Los cuales después que perdieron el sentido de la conciencia, se entregaron á la desvergüenza para cometer con avidez toda suerte de impureza.

Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

They, having become callous, gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Ihr aber habt Christus nicht also †kennen gelernt;

Mas vosotros no habéis aprendido así á Cristo:

But ye have not so learned Christ;

But you didn’t learn Christ that way,

da ihr ja von ihm gehört habt und in ihm gelehrt worden seid (wie es auch Wahrheit ist in Jesus),

Si empero lo habéis oído, y habéis sido por él enseñados, como la verdad está en Jesús,

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:

daß ihr, was den frühern Wandel betrifft, den alten Menschen ablegen sollt, der sich wegen der betrügerischen Lüste verderbte,

A que dejéis, cuanto á la pasada manera de vivir, el viejo hombre que está viciado conforme á los deseos de error;

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit,

dagegen euch im Geiste eures Gemüts erneuern lassen

Y á renovaros en el espíritu de vuestra mente,

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

und den neuen Menschen anziehen sollt, der nach Gott geschaffen ist in Gerechtigkeit und Heiligkeit der Wahrheit.

Y vestir el nuevo hombre que es criado conforme á Dios en justicia y en santidad de verdad.

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Darum leget die Lüge ab und redet die Wahrheit, ein jeder mit seinem Nächsten, denn wir sind untereinander Glieder.

Por lo cual, dejada la mentira, hablad verdad cada uno con su prójimo; porque somos miembros los unos de los otros.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

Zürnet ihr, so sündiget nicht; die Sonne gehe nicht unter über eurem Zorn!

Airaos, y no pequéis; no se ponga el sol sobre vuestro enojo;

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,

Gebet auch nicht Raum dem Teufel!

Ni deis lugar al diablo.

Neither give place to the devil.

and don’t give place to the devil.

Wer gestohlen hat, der stehle nicht mehr, sondern bemühe sich vielmehr mit seinen Händen etwas Gutes zu erarbeiten, damit er dem Dürftigen etwas zu geben habe.

El que hurtaba, no hurte más; antes trabaje, obrando con sus manos lo que es bueno, para que tenga de qué dar al que padeciere necesidad.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.

Keine schlechte Rede gehe aus eurem Munde, sondern was gut ist zur notwendigen Erbauung, daß es den Hörern wohltue.

Ninguna palabra torpe salga de vuestra boca, sino la que sea buena para edificación, para que dé gracia á los oyentes.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Und betrübet nicht den heiligen Geist Gottes, mit welchem ihr versiegelt worden seid auf den Tag der Erlösung.

Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, con el cual estáis sellados para el día de la redención.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Alle Bitterkeit und Grimm und Zorn und Geschrei und Lästerung sei ferne von euch samt aller Bosheit.

Toda amargura, y enojo, é ira, y voces, y maledicencia sea quitada de vosotros, y toda malicia:

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.

Seid aber gegeneinander freundlich, barmherzig, vergebet einander, gleichwie auch Gott in Christus euch vergeben hat.

Antes sed los unos con los otros benignos, misericordiosos, perdonándoos los unos á los otros, como también Dios os perdonó en Cristo.

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
