Por lo tanto, imiten a Dios, como hijos muy amados.
SED, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados:
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Vivan una vida llena de amor, así como Cristo nos amó y se entregó por nosotros como ofrenda y sacrificio fragante para Dios.
Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó, y se entregó á sí mismo por nosotros, ofrenda y sacrificio á Dios en olor suave.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Entre ustedes ni siquiera debe mencionarse la inmoralidad sexual, ni ninguna clase de impureza o de avaricia, porque eso no es propio del pueblo santo de Dios.

Porque da vergüenza aun mencionar lo que ellos hacen en secreto.

Porque el esposo es cabeza de su esposa, así como Cristo es cabeza y salvador de la iglesia, la cual es su cuerpo.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Este es un misterio muy profundo, pero me refiero a Cristo y a la iglesia.
