Efesios 5

—

SED, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados:

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

—

Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó, y se entregó á sí mismo por nosotros, ofrenda y sacrificio á Dios en olor suave.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Pero fornicación y toda inmundicia, ó avaricia, ni aun se nombre entre vosotros, como conviene á santos;

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

Ni palabras torpes, ni necedades, ni truhanerías, que no convienen; sino antes bien acciones de gracias.

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Porque sabéis esto, que ningún fornicario, ó inmundo, ó avaro, que es servidor de ídolos, tiene herencia en el reino de Cristo y de Dios.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

Nadie os engañe con palabras vanas; porque por estas cosas viene la ira de Dios sobre los hijos de desobediencia.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

No seáis pues aparceros con ellos;

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

Ihr wart einst Finsternis, jetzt aber seid ihr Licht im Herrn; lebt als Kinder des Lichts

Porque en otro tiempo erais tinieblas; mas ahora sois luz en el Señor: andad como hijos de luz,

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

- denn die Frucht des Lichts †ist, besteht in lauter (größte, höchste, völlige) Rechtschaffenheit und Gerechtigkeit und Wahrheit -

(Porque el fruto del Espíritu es en toda bondad, y justicia, y verdad;)

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

und erwägt, was dem Herrn gefällt,

Aprobando lo que es agradable al Señor.

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

und habt keinen Anteil an den fruchtlosen (unfruchtbaren) Werken der Finsternis, vielmehr {aber auch, sogar} bringt sie an den Tag.

Y no comuniquéis con las obras infructuosas de las tinieblas; sino antes bien redargüidlas.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

Denn ihre heimlichen Taten auch nur zu erwähnen, ist eine Schande.

Porque torpe cosa es aun hablar de lo que ellos hacen en oculto.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Alles aber, was an den Tag kommt, wird vom Licht sichtbar gemacht,

Mas todas las cosas cuando son redargüidas, son manifestadas por la luz; porque lo que manifiesta todo, la luz es.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

denn alles Sichtbare ist Licht. Darum heißt es „Wach auf, Schläfer,und steh auf von den Toten,und Christus wird dir leuchten (aufgehen, erscheinen)“.

Por lo cual dice: Despiértate, tú que duermes, y levántate de los muertos, y te alumbrará Cristo.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Achtet (seht, beobachtet) darum (also) sorgfältig (genau) †darauf, wie ihr lebt (euer Leben führt, wandelt): Nicht wie (als) Unweise, sondern wie (als) Weise,

Mirad, pues, cómo andéis avisadamente; no como necios, mas como sabios;

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,

indem (wobei, und) ihr die Zeit nutzt (jede Gelegenheit nutzt; die Zeit kauft), denn die Tage sind böse (schlimm).

Redimiendo el tiempo, porque los días son malos.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Deshalb werdet (seid) nicht gedankenlos (leichtsinnig, unverständig, töricht), sondern begreift (erkennt), was der Wille des Herrn †ist!

Por tanto, no seáis imprudentes, sino entendidos de cuál sea la voluntad del Señor.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Und betrinkt euch nicht †mit Wein, in dem (denn das ist) ein maßloser (wilder/selbstzerstörerischer) Lebensstil (Ausschweifung) ist, sondern werdet (lasst euch) durch (mit, im) †den Geist angefüllt (erfüllt),

Y no os embriaguéis de vino, en lo cual hay disolución; mas sed llenos de Espíritu;

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

wobei (indem, sodass, damit, während) ihr zu einander mit (in) Psalmen (Lobliedern) und Lobliedern (Lobgesängen) und geistlichen Liedern sprecht, so dass (wobei, indem, und) ihr †in eurem Herzen dem Herrn singt und lobsingt (Psalmen singt; spielt),

Hablando entre vosotros con salmos, y con himnos, y canciones espirituales, cantando y alabando al Señor en vuestros corazones;

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

jederzeit für alles Gott dem Vater dankt im Namen des unseres Herrn Jesus Christus

Dando gracias siempre de todo al Dios y Padre en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

und euch einander in der Furcht †vor Christus unterordnet,

Sujetados los unos á los otros en el temor de Dios.

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

die Frauen den eigenen Männern wie (als) dem Herrn,

Las casadas estén sujetas á sus propios maridos, como al Señor.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

denn †der Mann ist †das Haupt (der Kopf; „steht über“) der Frau, wie auch Christus †das Haupt der Gemeinde †ist, er, †der Retter des Körpers (†wobei er selbst †der Retter des Körpers †ist).

Porque el marido es cabeza de la mujer, así como Cristo es cabeza de la iglesia; y él es el que da la salud al cuerpo.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

So (sondern) wie die Gemeinde sich {dem} Christus unterordnet, so †sollen sich auch die Frauen †ihren Männern in allem †unterordnen.

Así que, como la iglesia está sujeta á Cristo, así también las casadas lo estén á sus maridos en todo.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

{die} Männer, liebt †eure Frauen, wie auch {der} Christus die Gemeinde geliebt hat und sich selbst für sie (um ihretwillen, an ihrer Stelle) ausgeliefert (übergeben, hingegeben, sein Leben gegeben) hat:

Maridos, amad á vuestras mujeres, así como Cristo amó á la iglesia, y se entregó á sí mismo por ella,

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

um (damit er) sie zu heiligen, indem (nachdem) er †sie †mit dem (†durch das, †im) Wasserbad durch †das (im, mit †dem) Wort reinigte (reinigt);

Para santificarla limpiándola en el lavacro del agua por la palabra,

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

um so (damit er) selbst die Gemeinde †als herrlich (wunderbar; angesehen, geehrt) vor (für) sich hinzustellen (sich zu präsentieren, für sich zu schaffen/aufzustellen), die keinen Fleck oder eine Runzel (Falte) oder etwas Derartiges (dergleichen, Ähnliches) hat, sondern so, dass (damit, um) sie heilig und fehlerlos (makellos, tadellos) ist.

Para presentársela gloriosa para sí, una iglesia que no tuviese mancha ni arruga, ni cosa semejante; sino que fuese santa y sin mancha.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.

So sollen (müssen, sind verpflichtet) auch die Männer ihre Frauen wie (als) ihren eigenen Körper lieben. Wer seine Frau liebt, †der liebt sich selbst.

Así también los maridos deben amar á sus mujeres como á sus mismos cuerpos. El que ama á su mujer, á sí mismo se ama.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

Denn (ja, nämlich) niemand hat je sein eigenes Fleisch gehasst, im Gegenteil (sondern, vielmehr, aber, nein) ernährt und versorgt (pflegt) †man es, genau wie auch Christus die Gemeinde †ernährt und versorgt,

Porque ninguno aborreció jamás á su propia carne, antes la sustenta y regala, como también Cristo á la iglesia;

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,

weil wir Glieder (Körperteile) seines Körpers sind.

Porque somos miembros de su cuerpo, de su carne y de sus huesos.

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.

Deshalb verlässt (lässt zurück; wird verlassen) ein Mann (Mensch) {den} Vater und {die} Mutter und vereint sich (tut sich zusammen) mit (zu) seiner Frau, und die beiden werden (sind; werden sein) zu einem Fleisch.

Por esto dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y se allegará á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”

Dieses Geheimnis ist groß; ich aber spreche über (beziehe/deute †es auf) Christus und über die Gemeinde.

Este misterio grande es: mas yo digo esto con respecto á Cristo y á la iglesia.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.

Jedenfalls (doch, nun, wie dem auch sei) sollt auch ihr, {die} jeder einzelne †von euch, seine eigene Frau so lieben wie sich selbst, und (aber) †jede Frau {dass} soll †ihren Mann respektieren (mit Achtung begegnen, fürchten).

Cada uno empero de vosotros de por sí, ame también á su mujer como á sí mismo; y la mujer reverencie á su marido.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
