Efesios 5

Sigam o exemplo de Deus em tudo quanto fizerem, como filhos muito amados.

SED, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados:

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

Sejam cheios de amor pelos outros, seguindo o exemplo de Cristo, que amou vocês e se entregou a Deus como sacrifício a fim de tirar os seus pecados. E Deus ficou satisfeito, porque o amor de Cristo por vocês foi para ele como suave perfume.

Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó, y se entregó á sí mismo por nosotros, ofrenda y sacrificio á Dios en olor suave.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Que não haja pecado sexual, impureza ou ganância entre vocês. Que isso não seja nem mesmo assunto de conversa entre os santos.

Pero fornicación y toda inmundicia, ó avaricia, ni aun se nombre entre vosotros, como conviene á santos;

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

As histórias sujas, a conversa indecente e gracejos inconvenientes, estas coisas não são para vocês. Em vez disso, relembrem uns aos outros da bondade de Deus e sejam agradecidos.

Ni palabras torpes, ni necedades, ni truhanerías, que no convienen; sino antes bien acciones de gracias.

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Podem estar certos disto: o reino de Cristo e de Deus nunca será de ninguém que é imoral ou impuro ou ganancioso ou idólatra. Esses não têm herança no Reino de Cristo e de Deus.

Porque sabéis esto, que ningún fornicario, ó inmundo, ó avaro, que es servidor de ídolos, tiene herencia en el reino de Cristo y de Dios.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

Não se deixem enganar por aqueles que procuram justificar esses pecados, porque a terrível ira de Deus está sobre todos aqueles que os praticam.

Nadie os engañe con palabras vanas; porque por estas cosas viene la ira de Dios sobre los hijos de desobediencia.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Não andem nem mesmo na companhia de tais pessoas.

No seáis pues aparceros con ellos;

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

Porque, embora antigamente o coração de vocês estivesse cheio de escuridão, agora está cheio da luz que vem do Senhor. Vivam como filhos da luz.

Porque en otro tiempo erais tinieblas; mas ahora sois luz en el Señor: andad como hijos de luz,

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

Por que o fruto desta luz consiste em bondade, justiça e verdade.

(Porque el fruto del Espíritu es en toda bondad, y justicia, y verdad;)

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

À medida que prosseguirem na vida, aprendam a discernir aquilo que agrada ao Senhor.

Aprobando lo que es agradable al Señor.

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

Não participem dos prazeres indignos do mal e das trevas, mas, em vez disso, tragam todas estas coisas para a luz.

Y no comuniquéis con las obras infructuosas de las tinieblas; sino antes bien redargüidlas.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

Seria vergonhoso até mencionar aqui esses prazeres das trevas aos quais os ímpios se entregam.

Porque torpe cosa es aun hablar de lo que ellos hacen en oculto.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

Mas quando vocês expõem à luz aquilo que é oculto, torna-se visível, pois a luz torna visíveis todas as coisas.

Mas todas las cosas cuando son redargüidas, son manifestadas por la luz; porque lo que manifiesta todo, la luz es.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

É por isso que foi dito: “Desperte, você que está dormindo, e levante-se dentre os mortos e Cristo iluminará você”.

Por lo cual dice: Despiértate, tú que duermes, y levántate de los muertos, y te alumbrará Cristo.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Portanto, sejam cuidadosos no seu modo de proceder. Não sejam insensatos; sejam sábios

Mirad, pues, cómo andéis avisadamente; no como necios, mas como sabios;

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,

e aproveitem ao máximo cada oportunidade que tiverem de fazer o bem, porque os dias são maus.

Redimiendo el tiempo, porque los días son malos.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Não procedam imprudentemente, mas procurem descobrir e fazer tudo o que o Senhor quer que vocês façam.

Por tanto, no seáis imprudentes, sino entendidos de cuál sea la voluntad del Señor.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Não bebam muito vinho, porque muita depravação se encontra nesse caminho; em vez disso, sejam cheios do Espírito Santo e governados por ele.

Y no os embriaguéis de vino, en lo cual hay disolución; mas sed llenos de Espíritu;

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

Conversem entre si a respeito do Senhor, citando salmos e hinos, entoando cânticos espirituais, cantando e louvando ao Senhor de coração.

Hablando entre vosotros con salmos, y con himnos, y canciones espirituales, cantando y alabando al Señor en vuestros corazones;

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Sempre deem graças por tudo a nosso Deus e Pai, no nome do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.

Dando gracias siempre de todo al Dios y Padre en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

Honrem a Cristo pela submissão uns aos outros.

Sujetados los unos á los otros en el temor de Dios.

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

Vocês, esposas, devem ser submissas à orientação de seus maridos, do mesmo modo como se submetem ao Senhor.

Las casadas estén sujetas á sus propios maridos, como al Señor.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

Porque o marido lidera a esposa da mesma maneira como Cristo lidera o seu corpo, do qual ele é o Salvador.

Porque el marido es cabeza de la mujer, así como Cristo es cabeza de la iglesia; y él es el que da la salud al cuerpo.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Portanto, vocês, esposas, devem atentar de bom grado para a orientação de seus maridos em tudo, tal como a igreja segue a direção de Cristo.

Así que, como la iglesia está sujeta á Cristo, así también las casadas lo estén á sus maridos en todo.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

E vocês, maridos, mostrem pelas suas esposas o mesmo tipo de amor que Cristo mostrou pela igreja quando se entregou por ela,

Maridos, amad á vuestras mujeres, así como Cristo amó á la iglesia, y se entregó á sí mismo por ella,

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

para fazê-la santa e purificada pelo lavar da água mediante a palavra;

Para santificarla limpiándola en el lavacro del agua por la palabra,

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

a fim de que ele pudesse apresentá-la a si mesmo como uma igreja gloriosa sem uma única mancha, ou ruga, ou qualquer outro defeito, mas sim, santa e sem nenhuma imperfeição.

Para presentársela gloriosa para sí, una iglesia que no tuviese mancha ni arruga, ni cosa semejante; sino que fuese santa y sin mancha.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.

É assim que os maridos devem tratar suas esposas, amando-as como aos seus próprios corpos. Quem ama a sua mulher ama a si mesmo.

Así también los maridos deben amar á sus mujeres como á sus mismos cuerpos. El que ama á su mujer, á sí mismo se ama.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

Ninguém jamais odiou o seu próprio corpo, mas cuida dele com todo o amor, tal como Cristo cuida do seu corpo, a igreja,

Porque ninguno aborreció jamás á su propia carne, antes la sustenta y regala, como también Cristo á la iglesia;

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,

do qual nós todos somos membros.

Porque somos miembros de su cuerpo, de su carne y de sus huesos.

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.

“Por esta razão um homem deve deixar seu pai e sua mãe a fim de que possa estar perfeitamente unido à sua esposa, e os dois se tornarão uma só carne”.

Por esto dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y se allegará á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”

Eu sei que isto é um mistério, porém é uma ilustração de Cristo e a igreja.

Este misterio grande es: mas yo digo esto con respecto á Cristo y á la iglesia.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.

Portanto, eu torno a dizer: um homem deve amar sua esposa como a si próprio; e a esposa deve respeitar o marido.

Cada uno empero de vosotros de por sí, ame también á su mujer como á sí mismo; y la mujer reverencie á su marido.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
