Efesios 5

Siate dunque imitatori di Dio, come figliuoli suoi diletti;

SED, pues, imitadores de Dios como hijos amados:

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

camminate nell’amore come anche Cristo vi ha amati e ha dato se stesso per noi in offerta e sacrificio a Dio, qual profumo d’odor soave.

Y andad en amor, como también Cristo nos amó, y se entregó á sí mismo por nosotros, ofrenda y sacrificio á Dios en olor suave.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Ma come si conviene a dei santi, né fornicazione, né alcuna impurità, né avarizia, sia neppur nominata fra voi;

Pero fornicación y toda inmundicia, ó avaricia, ni aun se nombre entre vosotros, como conviene á santos;

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

né disonestà, né buffonerie, né facezie scurrili, che son cose sconvenienti; ma piuttosto, rendimento di grazie.

Ni palabras torpes, ni necedades, ni truhanerías, que no convienen; sino antes bien acciones de gracias.

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Poiché voi sapete molto bene che niun fornicatore o impuro, o avaro (che è un idolatra), ha eredità nel regno di Cristo e di Dio.

Porque sabéis esto, que ningún fornicario, ó inmundo, ó avaro, que es servidor de ídolos, tiene herencia en el reino de Cristo y de Dios.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

Niuno vi seduca con vani ragionamenti; poiché è per queste cose che l’ira di Dio viene sugli uomini ribelli.

Nadie os engañe con palabras vanas; porque por estas cosas viene la ira de Dios sobre los hijos de desobediencia.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Non siate dunque loro compagni;

No seáis pues aparceros con ellos;

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

perché già eravate tenebre, ma ora siete luce nel Signore. Conducetevi come figliuoli di luce

Porque en otro tiempo erais tinieblas; mas ahora sois luz en el Señor: andad como hijos de luz,

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

(poiché il frutto della luce consiste in tutto ciò che è bontà e giustizia e verità),

(Porque el fruto del Espíritu es en toda bondad, y justicia, y verdad;)

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

esaminando che cosa sia accetto al Signore.

Aprobando lo que es agradable al Señor.

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

E non partecipate alle opere infruttuose delle tenebre; anzi, piuttosto riprendetele;

Y no comuniquéis con las obras infructuosas de las tinieblas; sino antes bien redargüidlas.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

poiché egli è disonesto pur di dire le cose che si fanno da costoro in occulto.

Porque torpe cosa es aun hablar de lo que ellos hacen en oculto.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

Ma tutte le cose, quando sono riprese dalla luce, diventano manifeste; poiché tutto ciò che è manifesto, è luce.

Mas todas las cosas cuando son redargüidas, son manifestadas por la luz; porque lo que manifiesta todo, la luz es.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

Perciò dice: Risvegliati, o tu che dormi, e risorgi da’ morti, e Cristo t’inonderà di luce.

Por lo cual dice: Despiértate, tú que duermes, y levántate de los muertos, y te alumbrará Cristo.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Guardate dunque con diligenza come vi conducete; non da stolti, ma da savi;

Mirad, pues, cómo andéis avisadamente; no como necios, mas como sabios;

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,

approfittando delle occasioni, perché i giorni sono malvagi.

Redimiendo el tiempo, porque los días son malos.

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Perciò non siate disavveduti, ma intendete bene quale sia la volontà del Signore.

Por tanto, no seáis imprudentes, sino entendidos de cuál sea la voluntad del Señor.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

E non v’inebriate di vino; esso porta alla dissolutezza; ma siate ripieni dello Spirito,

Y no os embriaguéis de vino, en lo cual hay disolución; mas sed llenos de Espíritu;

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

parlandovi con salmi ed inni e canzoni spirituali, cantando e salmeggiando col cuor vostro al Signore;

Hablando entre vosotros con salmos, y con himnos, y canciones espirituales, cantando y alabando al Señor en vuestros corazones;

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

rendendo del continuo grazie d’ogni cosa a Dio e Padre, nel nome del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo;

Dando gracias siempre de todo al Dios y Padre en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo:

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

sottoponendovi gli uni agli altri nel timore di Cristo.

Sujetados los unos á los otros en el temor de Dios.

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

Mogli, siate soggette ai vostri mariti, come al Signore;

Las casadas estén sujetas á sus propios maridos, como al Señor.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

poiché il marito è capo della moglie, come anche Cristo è capo della Chiesa, egli, che è il Salvatore del corpo.

Porque el marido es cabeza de la mujer, así como Cristo es cabeza de la iglesia; y él es el que da la salud al cuerpo.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Ma come la Chiesa è soggetta a Cristo, così debbono anche le mogli esser soggette a’ loro mariti in ogni cosa.

Así que, como la iglesia está sujeta á Cristo, así también las casadas lo estén á sus maridos en todo.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

Mariti, amate le vostre mogli, come anche Cristo ha amato la Chiesa e ha dato se stesso per lei,

Maridos, amad á vuestras mujeres, así como Cristo amó á la iglesia, y se entregó á sí mismo por ella,

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,

affin di santificarla, dopo averla purificata col lavacro dell’acqua mediante la Parola,

Para santificarla limpiándola en el lavacro del agua por la palabra,

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

affin di far egli stesso comparire dinanzi a sé questa Chiesa, gloriosa, senza macchia, senza ruga o cosa alcuna simile, ma santa ed irreprensibile.

Para presentársela gloriosa para sí, una iglesia que no tuviese mancha ni arruga, ni cosa semejante; sino que fuese santa y sin mancha.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.

Allo stesso modo anche i mariti debbono amare le loro mogli, come i loro propri corpi. Chi ama sua moglie ama se stesso.

Así también los maridos deben amar á sus mujeres como á sus mismos cuerpos. El que ama á su mujer, á sí mismo se ama.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

Poiché niuno ebbe mai in odio la sua carne; anzi la nutre e la cura teneramente, come anche Cristo fa per la Chiesa,

Porque ninguno aborreció jamás á su propia carne, antes la sustenta y regala, como también Cristo á la iglesia;

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,

poiché noi siamo membra del suo corpo.

Porque somos miembros de su cuerpo, de su carne y de sus huesos.

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.

Perciò l’uomo lascerà suo padre e sua madre e s’unirà a sua moglie, e i due diverranno una stessa carne.

Por esto dejará el hombre á su padre y á su madre, y se allegará á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”

Questo mistero è grande; dico questo, riguardo a Cristo ed alla Chiesa.

Este misterio grande es: mas yo digo esto con respecto á Cristo y á la iglesia.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.

Ma d’altronde, anche fra voi, ciascuno individualmente così ami sua moglie, come ama se stesso; e altresì la moglie rispetti il marito.

Cada uno empero de vosotros de por sí, ame también á su mujer como á sí mismo; y la mujer reverencie á su marido.

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
