Efesios 6

Hijos, hagan lo que sus padres y madres ordenan en el Señor: porque esto es correcto.

HIJOS, obedeced en el Señor á vuestros padres; porque esto es justo.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Dale honor a tu padre y a tu madre (que es el primer mandamiento con promesa ),

Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, que es el primer mandamiento con promesa,

Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise:

Para que todos te salga bien, y tu vida sea larga en la tierra.

Para que te vaya bien, y seas de larga vida sobre la tierra.

That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

“that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.”

Y ustedes, padres, no provoquen a ira a sus hijos, sino enséñenles la enseñanza y el temor del Señor.

Y vosotros, padres, no provoquéis á ira á vuestros hijos; sino criadlos en disciplina y amonestación del Señor.

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Siervos, hagan lo que ordenan aquellos que son sus amos naturales, teniendo respeto y temor por ellos, con todo su corazón, como a Cristo;

Siervos, obedeced á vuestros amos según la carne con temor y temblor, con sencillez de vuestro corazón, como á Cristo;

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ,

No solo bajo el ojo de tu amo, como complacientes de los hombres; sino como siervos de Cristo, haciendo el placer de Dios de corazón;

No sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan á los hombres; sino como siervos de Cristo, haciendo de ánimo la voluntad de Dios;

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

Haciendo su trabajo con prontitud, como para el Señor, y no para los hombres:

Sirviendo con buena voluntad, como al Señor, y no á los hombres;

With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

with good will doing service as to the Lord and not to men,

Sabiendo que por todo lo bueno que alguien haga, tendrá su recompensa del Señor, si es un siervo o si es libre.

Sabiendo que el bien que cada uno hiciere, esto recibirá del Señor, sea siervo ó sea libre.

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same good again from the Lord, whether he is bound or free.

Y, señores, hagan lo mismo con ellos, sin hacer uso de palabras violentas: sabiendo que su Maestro y el suyo están en el cielo, y que no respeta la posición de un hombre.

Y vosotros, amos, haced á ellos lo mismo, dejando las amenazas: sabiendo que el Señor de ellos y vuestro está en los cielos, y que no hay acepción de personas con él.

And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.

Por último, sé fuerte en el Señor y en la fuerza de su poder.

Por lo demás, hermanos míos, confortaos en el Señor, y en la potencia de su fortaleza.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Protéjanse con la armadura de Dios, para que puedan mantener su posición contra todos los engaños del diablo.

Vestíos de toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis estar firmes contra las asechanzas del diablo.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Porque nuestra lucha no es contra sangre y carne, sino contra autoridades y potestades, contra los gobernadores de las tinieblas de este mundo, contra los espíritus malignos del cielo.

Porque no tenemos lucha contra sangre y carne; sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra señores del mundo, gobernadores de estas tinieblas, contra malicias espirituales en los aires.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Por esta razón, toma la armadura de Dios, para que puedan ser fuertes en el día malo, y habiendo hecho todo, estar firmes.

Por tanto, tomad toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis resistir en el día malo, y estar firmes, habiendo acabado todo.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Toma tu lugar, entonces, ceñidos sus lomos con la verdad, y habiéndose puesto la coraza de justicia;

Estad pues firmes, ceñidos vuestros lomos de verdad, y vestidos de la cota de justicia,

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Prepárate con las buenas nuevas de la paz con zapatos en tus pies;

Y calzados los pies con el apresto del evangelio de paz;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace,

Y sobre todo, usar la fe como un escudo para evitar todas las flechas ardientes del Maligno.

Sobre todo, tomando el escudo de la fe, con que podáis apagar todos los dardos de fuego del maligno.

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

Y toma el yelmo de la la salvación por tu tocado y la espada del Espíritu, que es la palabra de Dios:

Y tomad el yelmo de salud, y la espada del Espíritu; que es la palabra de Dios;

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Con oraciones y súplicas, en todo momento en el Espíritu, y velando con toda perseverancia, y súplica, por todos los santos,

Orando en todo tiempo con toda deprecación y súplica en el Espíritu, y velando en ello con toda instancia y suplicación por todos los santos,

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.

Y para mí, que se me de palabras para dar a conocer con denuedo el misterio del mensaje de salvación,

Y por mí, para que me sea dada palabra en el abrir de mi boca con confianza, para hacer notorio el misterio del evangelio,

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Pray for me, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,

Por lo cual soy un representante encadenado, oren para que yo hable de él sin temor alguno.

Por el cual soy embajador en cadenas; que resueltamente hable de él, como debo hablar.

For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Pero para que conozcáis mis asuntos, y como soy, Tíquico, el hermano bien amado y siervo probado en el Señor, les dará noticias de todas las cosas:

Mas para que también vosotros sepáis mis negocios, y cómo lo paso, todo os lo hará saber Tichîco, hermano amado y fiel ministro en el Señor:

But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

But that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things.

A quien les he enviado para este mismo propósito., para que puedan conocer nuestra posición y para que pueda consolar sus corazones.

Al cual os he enviado para esto mismo, para que entendáis lo tocante á nosotros, y que consuele vuestros corazones.

Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state and that he may comfort your hearts.

Paz a los hermanos, y amor con fe, de Dios el Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

Paz sea á los hermanos y amor con fe, de Dios Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Y que derrame su gracia sobre todos los que tienen amor inalterable por nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
