3Porque el judío Mardoqueo llegó a ser el segundo después del rey Asuero. Fue un hombre muy importante entre los judíos y muy querido por todos sus compatriotas, porque siempre buscó el bienestar de su pueblo y trabajó por la paz de todos sus descendientes.

3Porque Mardochêo Judío fué segundo después del rey Assuero, y grande entre los Judíos, y acepto á la multitud de sus hermanos, procurando el bien de su pueblo, y hablando paz para toda su simiente.
