Denn der Jude Mardochai war der Erste im Range nach dem König Ahasveros und hochgeachtet bei den Juden und beliebt bei der Menge seiner Volksgenossen, weil er das Beste seines Volkes suchte und für das Wohl seines ganzen Stammes eintrat.
