Cette nuit-là le Roi ne pouvait dormir ; et il commanda qu’on lui apportât le Livre des Mémoires, c’est-à-dire les Chroniques ; et on les lut devant le Roi.

AQUELLA noche se le fué el sueño al rey, y dijo que le trajesen el libro de las memorias de las cosas de los tiempos: y leyéronlas delante del rey.

On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.
