1Veio, pois, o rei com Hamã para beber com a rainha Ester.
2O rei disse também a Ester no segundo dia do banquete do vinho: Qual é tua petição, rainha Ester, para que te seja concedida? Qual é o teu pedido? Ainda que seja a metade do reino, será feito.
3Então a rainha Ester respondeu e disse: Ó rei, se tenho achado favor em teus olhos, e se for do agrado do rei, seja me dada minha vida por minha petição, e meu povo por meu pedido.
4Porque estamos vendidos, eu e meu povo, para sermos destruídos, mortos e exterminados. Se apenas fôssemos ser vendidos como escravos e escravas, eu ficaria calada, pois tal opressão não compensaria incomodar ao rei.
5Então o rei Assuero respondeu à rainha Ester: Quem é esse, e onde está esse, que se atreveu a pensar em fazer assim?
6E Ester disse: O homem opressor e inimigo é este malvado Hamã. Então Hamã se perturbou diante do rei e da rainha.
7E o rei, em seu furor, se levantou do banquete do vinho, e foi ao jardim do palácio; e Hamã ficou em pé para suplicar à rainha Ester por sua vida; pois entendeu que o rei já havia decidido o mal contra ele.
8Quando o rei voltou do jardim do palácio ao lugar do banquete do vinho, Hamã estava caído sobre o leito em que Ester estava. Então disse o rei: Por acaso ele também queria abusar da rainha diante de mim nesta casa? Assim que esta palavra saiu da boca do rei, cobriram o rosto de Hamã.
9Então Harbona, um dos eunucos que estavam na presença do rei, disse: Eis que há uma forca de cinquenta côvados de altura que Hamã fez para Mardoqueu, o qual falou para o bem do rei, junto à casa de Hamã. Então o rei disse: Enforcai-o nela.
10Assim enforcaram a Hamã na forca que ele tinha mandado preparar para Mardoqueu; então o furor do rei se apaziguou.

1VINO pues el rey con Amán á beber con la reina Esther.
2Y también el segundo día dijo el rey á Esther en el convite del vino: ¿Cuál es tu petición, reina Esther, y se te concederá? ¿Cuál es pues tu demanda? Aunque sea la mitad del reino, pondráse por obra.
3Entonces la reina Esther respondió y dijo: Oh rey, si he hallado gracia en tus ojos, y si al rey place, séame dada mi vida por mi petición, y mi pueblo por mi demanda.
4Porque vendidos estamos yo y mi pueblo, para ser destruídos, para ser muertos y exterminados. Y si para siervos y siervas fuéramos vendidos, callárame, bien que el enemigo no compensara el daño del rey.
5Y respondió el rey Assuero, y dijo á la reina Esther: ¿Quién es, y dónde está, aquél á quien ha henchido su corazón para obrar así?
6Y Esther dijo: El enemigo y adversario es este malvado Amán. Entonces se turbó Amán delante del rey y de la reina.
7Levantóse luego el rey del banquete del vino en su furor, y se fué al huerto del palacio: y quedóse Amán para procurar de la reina Esther por su vida; porque vió que estaba resuelto para él el mal de parte del rey.
8Volvió después el rey del huerto del palacio al aposento del banquete del vino, y Amán había caído sobre el lecho en que estaba Esther. Entonces dijo el rey: ¿También para forzar la reina, estando conmigo en casa? Como esta palabra salió de la boca del rey, el rostro de Amán fué cubierto.
9Y dijo Harbona, uno de los eunucos de delante del rey: He aquí también la horca de cincuenta codos de altura que hizo Amán para Mardochêo, el cual había hablado bien por el rey, está en casa de Amán. Entonces el rey dijo: Colgadlo en ella.
10Así colgaron á Amán en la horca que él había hecho aparejar para Mardochêo; y apaciguóse la ira del rey.
King James Version
1So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.
2And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.
3Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:
4For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.
5Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
6And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
7And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
8Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
9And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
10So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

2The king said again to Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, “What is your petition, queen Esther? It shall be granted you. What is your request? Even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.”
3Then Esther the queen answered, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request.
4For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for male and female slaves, I would have held my peace, although the adversary could not have compensated for the king’s loss.”
5Then King Ahasuerus said to Esther the queen, “Who is he, and where is he who dared presume in his heart to do so?”
6Esther said, “An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman!” Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
7The king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden. Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen, for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
8Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman had fallen on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he even assault the queen in front of me in the house?” As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
9Then Harbonah, one of the eunuchs who were with the king, said, “Behold, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman has made for Mordecai, who spoke good for the king, is standing at Haman’s house.” The king said, “Hang him on it!”
10So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath was pacified.
