17Também em cada província e em cada cidade aonde chegava a palavra do rei e seu decreto, havia entre os judeus alegria e júbilo, banquetes e dia de prazer. E muitos dos povos da terra se tornaram como judeus, porque o temor aos judeus havia caído sobre eles.

17Y en cada provincia y en cada ciudad donde llegó el mandamiento del rey, los Judíos tuvieron alegría y gozo, banquete y día de placer. Y muchos de los pueblos de la tierra se hacían Judíos, porque el temor de los Judíos había caído sobre ellos.

17And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
