16Mientras tanto, los demás judíos que vivían en las provincias del rey se organizaron para defender su vida. Se deshicieron de sus enemigos matando a setenta y cinco mil de los que los odiaban, pero no se quedaron con nada de lo que ellos tenían.

16En cuanto á los otros Judíos que estaban en las provincias del rey, también se juntaron y pusiéronse en defensa de su vida, y tuvieron reposo de sus enemigos, y mataron de sus contrarios setenta y cinco mil; mas en la presa no metieron su mano.

16But the other Jews that were in the king’s provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,
