Então Moisés e os israelitas cantaram este hino ao Senhor: “Cantarei ao Senhor, porque ele venceu maravilhosamente. Lançou nas profundezas do mar o cavalo e o seu cavaleiro!
ENTONCES cantó Moisés y los hijos de Israel este cántico á Jehová, y dijeron: Cantaré yo á Jehová, porque se ha magnificado grandemente, echando en la mar al caballo y al que en él subía.
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

“Senhor, a sua mão direita é majestosa em poder! Senhor, a sua mão direita despedaçou o inimigo!

Na grandeza da sua majestade, derrubou os que se levantaram contra o Senhor. Enviou o seu furor, que consumiu os seus inimigos, como o fogo consome a palha.
Y con la grandeza de tu poder has trastornado á los que se levantaron contra ti: enviaste tu furor; los tragó como á hojarasca.
And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.

Com um sopro das suas narinas, as águas se amontoaram. As águas turbulentas ficaram firmes como duas paredes, e as águas profundas se solidificaram no coração do mar.
Con el soplo de tus narices se amontonaron las aguas; paráronse las corrientes como en un montón; los abismos se cuajaron en medio de la mar.
And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

“O inimigo dizia: ‘Vou perseguir e alcançá-los, e repartirei os bens que conseguir tomar. Com a espada os destruirei’.
El enemigo dijo: Perseguiré, prenderé, repartiré despojos; mi alma se henchirá de ellos; sacaré mi espada, destruirlos ha mi mano.
The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

Mas o Senhor enviou o seu sopro, e o mar os encobriu. Afundaram como chumbo nas águas profundas.
Soplaste con tu viento, cubriólos la mar: hundiéronse como plomo en las impetuosas aguas.
Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

Por causa do seu amor, guiou o povo que libertou. Com o seu poder conduziu o seu povo ao lugar santo que escolheu para morar.
Condujiste en tu misericordia á este pueblo, al cual salvaste; llevástelo con tu fortaleza á la habitación de tu santuario.
Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
“You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.
Os povos souberam o que aconteceu e tremeram! A angústia apoderou-se do povo da Filístia.
Oiránlo los pueblos, y temblarán; apoderarse ha dolor de los moradores de Palestina.
The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.
Os comandantes de Edom estão aflitos. Os poderosos de Moabe tremem. O povo de Canaã esmorece.

Estão dominados de terror e medo, pela força do seu braço, e estão paralisados como pedras, até que passe o seu povo, ó Senhor, até que passe o povo que o Senhor comprou.
Caiga sobre ellos temblor y espanto; á la grandeza de tu brazo enmudezcan como una piedra; hasta que haya pasado tu pueblo, oh Jehová, hasta que haya pasado este pueblo que tú rescataste.
Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.
Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, LORD, until the people you have purchased pass over.
O Senhor fará com que o seu povo entre e seja plantado no monte do seu santo nome. Sim, o seu povo morará no lugar que o Senhor preparou, no seu lar, no santuário que o Senhor mesmo construiu.

Quando os cavalos, os cavaleiros e os carros de guerra do faraó entraram no mar, o Senhor lançou sobre eles as paredes de água, mas os israelitas atravessaram o mar pisando em terra seca!
Porque Faraón entró cabalgando con sus carros y su gente de á caballo en la mar, y Jehová volvió á traer las aguas de la mar sobre ellos; mas los hijos de Israel fueron en seco por medio de la mar.

Depois Moisés conduziu os israelitas desde o mar Vermelho até o deserto de Sur. Ali andaram três dias sem achar água.
E hizo Moisés que partiese Israel del mar Bermejo, y salieron al desierto de Shur; y anduvieron tres días por el desierto sin hallar agua.

Finalmente chegaram a Mara e acharam água. Mas não puderam bebê-la porque era amarga. Por isso aquele lugar chamou-se Mara.

Então o povo começou a murmurar contra Moisés, dizendo: “O que beberemos?”

Moisés clamou ao Senhor, e este lhe mostrou um arbusto, e Moisés o lançou na água, e a água se tornou boa. Em Mara o Senhor lhes deu leis e uma ordem, e os colocou à prova,

And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
Then he cried to the LORD. The LORD showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them.
dizendo: “Se vocês derem atenção à voz do Senhor, o seu Deus, se fizerem o que for correto aos seus olhos, e se guardarem os seus mandamentos e obedecerem todos os seus estatutos, não deixarei que vocês sofram nenhuma das doenças que trouxe sobre os egípcios. Eu sou o Senhor que os cura”.
Y dijo: Si oyeres atentamente la voz de Jehová tu Dios, é hicieres lo recto delante de sus ojos, y dieres oído á sus mandamientos, y guardares todos sus estatutos, ninguna enfermedad de las que envié á los Egipcios te enviaré á ti; porque yo soy Jehová tu Sanador.
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
He said, “If you will diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”
Depois os israelitas foram embora dali e chegaram a Elim, onde acamparam. Nesse lugar havia doze fontes de água e setenta palmeiras.
Y llegaron á Elim, donde había doce fuentes de aguas, y setenta palmas; y asentaron allí junto á las aguas.
And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
