If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
If the thief is found breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt of bloodshed for him.
mas se isso acontecer durante o dia, será culpado de homicídio. “Quanto ao roubo, o ladrão precisará restituir o que roubou. Se não puder devolver ou pagar o que roubou, ele mesmo será vendido como escravo. O dinheiro da venda servirá para pagar o roubo.
Si el sol hubiere sobre él salido, el matador será reo de homicidio: el ladrón habrá de restituir cumplidamente; si no tuviere, será vendido por su hurto.
If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
If the sun has risen on him, he is guilty of bloodshed. He shall make restitution. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
Se o ladrão for apanhado no ato de roubar um animal vivo, seja boi, jumento ou ovelha, precisará pagar o dobro.
Si fuere hallado con el hurto en la mano, sea buey ó asno ú oveja vivos, pagará el duplo.
If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
If the stolen property is found in his hand alive, whether it is ox, donkey, or sheep, he shall pay double.
“Se alguém soltar seu animal e este entrar na vinha ou no pasto de outro homem, pagará o prejuízo com o melhor que tiver do seu próprio campo ou da sua vinha.
Si alguno hiciere pacer campo ó viña, y metiere su bestia, y comiere la tierra de otro, de lo mejor de su tierra y de lo mejor de su viña pagará.
If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
“If a man causes a field or vineyard to be eaten by letting his animal loose, and it grazes in another man’s field, he shall make restitution from the best of his own field, and from the best of his own vineyard.
“Quem acender fogo, e o fogo destruir as colheitas já feitas ou por fazer, ou as pastagens de outra pessoa, restituirá totalmente o prejuízo.
Cuando rompiere un fuego, y hallare espinas, y fuere quemado montón, ó haza, ó campo, el que encendió el fuego pagará lo quemado.
If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
“If fire breaks out, and catches in thorns so that the shocks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field are consumed; he who kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
“Se alguém pede a outra pessoa para guardar prata ou objetos de valor, e um ladrão rouba aquilo que foi guardado, se o ladrão for achado, pagará em dobro o que roubou.
Cuando alguno diere á su prójimo plata ó alhajas á guardar, y fuere hurtado de la casa de aquel hombre, si el ladrón se hallare, pagará el doble.
If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
“If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double.
Mas se não acharem o ladrão, o dono da casa será levado perante um tribunal para que se determine se ele roubou ou não os bens do outro.
Si el ladrón no se hallare, entonces el dueño de la casa será presentado á los jueces, para ver si ha metido su mano en la hacienda de su prójimo.
If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods.
If the thief isn’t found, then the master of the house shall come near to God, to find out whether or not he has put his hand on his neighbor’s goods.
Sempre que alguém se apossar de bois, jumentos, ovelhas, roupa ou qualquer coisa perdida, e alguém disser: ‘Isto é meu’, as duas partes envolvidas apresentarão o caso diante de um tribunal. Aquele que for condenado pelo tribunal, pagará o dobro do prejuízo que causou ao seu próximo.
Sobre todo negocio de fraude, sobre buey, sobre asno, sobre oveja, sobre vestido, sobre toda cosa perdida, cuando uno dijere: Esto es mío, la causa de ambos vendrá delante de los jueces; y el que los jueces condenaren, pagará el doble á su prójimo.
For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Si alguno hubiere dado á su prójimo asno, ó buey, ú oveja, ó cualquier otro animal á guardar, y se muriere, ó se perniquebrare, ó fuere llevado sin verlo nadie;
If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
“If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies or is injured, or driven away, no man seeing it;
a pessoa deve então fazer um juramento solene diante do Senhor de que não roubou o animal. O dono aceitará a palavra, e não será exigida uma restituição da pessoa.
Juramento de Jehová tendrá lugar entre ambos de que no echó su mano á la hacienda de su prójimo: y su dueño lo aceptará, y el otro no pagará.
Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

Mas, se a pessoa roubou aquilo que estava guardando, ela precisará restituir o que roubou ao legítimo dono.

And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

Se foi despedaçado por um animal selvagem, apresentará o animal despedaçado ao dono, como prova. Nesse caso não precisará fazer restituição.
Y si le hubiere sido arrebatado por fiera, traerle ha testimonio, y no pagará lo arrebatado.
If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
If it is torn in pieces, let him bring it for evidence. He shall not make good that which was torn.
“Se alguém pedir emprestado um animal, e este animal ficar aleijado ou morrer enquanto o dono esteve ausente, ele fará a restituição do valor do animal.
Pero si alguno hubiere tomado prestada bestia de su prójimo, y fuere estropeada ó muerta, ausente su dueño, deberá pagarla.
And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
“If a man borrows anything of his neighbor’s, and it is injured, or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution.
Mas, se o dono estiver presente quando isso aconteceu, o que tomou emprestado não precisará pagar o prejuízo. Se o animal era alugado, basta pagar o preço do aluguel.
Si el dueño estaba presente, no la pagará. Si era alquilada, él vendrá por su alquiler.
But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
If its owner is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is a leased thing, it came for its lease.
“Se um homem seduzir uma moça virgem não comprometida e tiver relações com ela, pagará o preço do seu dote, e ela será sua mulher;
Y si alguno engañare á alguna doncella que no fuere desposada, y durmiere con ella, deberá dotarla y tomarla por mujer.
And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
“If a man entices a virgin who isn’t pledged to be married, and lies with her, he shall surely pay a dowry for her to be his wife.
mas se o pai da moça proibir o casamento, o sedutor pagará a ele o equivalente ao dote das moças virgens.
Si su padre no quisiere dársela, él le pesará plata conforme al dote de las vírgenes.
If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.
If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.
“Não deixem as feiticeiras viver.
A la hechicera no dejarás que viva.
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
“You shall not allow a sorceress to live.
“Quem tiver relação sexual com um animal deve ser morto.
Cualquiera que tuviere ayuntamiento con bestia, morirá.
Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
“Whoever has sex with an animal shall surely be put to death.
“Quem oferecer sacrifícios a deuses falsos, e não unicamente ao Senhor, será destruído.
El que sacrificare á dioses, excepto á sólo Jehová, será muerto.
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
“He who sacrifices to any god, except to the LORD only, shall be utterly destroyed.
“Não maltrate nem explore os estrangeiros. Não esqueça que você foi estrangeiro no Egito.
Y al extranjero no engañarás, ni angustiarás, porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en la tierra de Egipto.
Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
“You shall not wrong an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
“Não maltrate nenhuma viúva, nem os órfãos.
A ninguna viuda ni huérfano afligiréis.
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
“You shall not take advantage of any widow or fatherless child.
Se você os maltratar, e eles clamarem a mim, atenderei ao seu clamor.
Que si tú llegas á afligirle, y él á mí clamare, ciertamente oiré yo su clamor;
If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
If you take advantage of them at all, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;
Ficarei muito irado e matarei você e todos os que fizerem isso. Então as suas mulheres ficarão viúvas e os seus filhos ficarão órfãos.
Y mi furor se encenderá, y os mataré á cuchillo, y vuestras mujeres serán viudas, y huérfanos vuestros hijos.
And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

“Se você emprestar dinheiro a alguém do meu povo, a algum necessitado que esteja com você, não cobre juros dele!
Si dieres á mi pueblo dinero emprestado, al pobre que está contigo, no te portarás con él como logrero, ni le impondrás usura.
If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
Se tomar como garantia a capa de alguém, não abuse! Devolva a capa a ele antes do pôr do sol,
Si tomares en prenda el vestido de tu prójimo, á puestas del sol se lo volverás:
If thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
If you take your neighbor’s garment as collateral, you shall restore it to him before the sun goes down,
porque a capa é o seu cobertor. É a veste do seu corpo. Se você ficar com ela, em que vai se deitar? Quando ele clamar a mim, eu atenderei, porque sou misericordioso.
Porque sólo aquello es su cubierta, es aquél el vestido para cubrir sus carnes, en el que ha de dormir: y será que cuando él á mí clamare, yo entonces le oiré, porque soy misericordioso.
For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.
“Não blasfeme contra Deus, nem amaldiçoe uma autoridade do seu povo.
No denostarás á los jueces, ni maldecirás al príncipe de tu pueblo.
Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
“You shall not blaspheme God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
“Traga sem demora as ofertas dos melhores produtos das suas colheitas do trigo, das plantações de uvas e do azeite. “Consagre a mim o primeiro filho.
No dilatarás la primicia de tu cosecha, ni de tu licor: me darás el primogénito de tus hijos.
Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
“You shall not delay to offer from your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. “You shall give the firstborn of your sons to me.
Faça o mesmo com a primeira cria da vaca e da ovelha. A primeira cria ficará sete dias com a mãe. Depois, no oitavo dia, entreguem-na para mim.
Así harás con el de tu buey y de tu oveja: siete días estará con su madre, y al octavo día me lo darás.
Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
You shall do likewise with your cattle and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days, then on the eighth day you shall give it to me.
“Vocês serão homens consagrados. Por isso, não comam carne de animal despedaçado no campo. Deem essa carne aos cães.

And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
“You shall be holy men to me, therefore you shall not eat any meat that is torn by animals in the field. You shall cast it to the dogs.
