1Et l’Éternel dit à Moïse : Taille-toi deux tables de pierre comme les premières, et j’écrirai sur les tables les paroles qui étaient sur les premières tables que tu as brisées.
2Et sois prêt au matin, et monte au matin sur la montagne de Sinaï, et tiens-toi là devant moi, sur le sommet de la montagne.
3Et personne ne montera avec toi, et même personne ne sera vu sur toute la montagne, et ni le menu ni le gros bétail ne paîtra devant cette montagne.
4Et Moïse tailla deux tables de pierre comme les premières, et se leva de bon matin, et monta sur la montagne de Sinaï, comme l’Éternel le lui avait commandé, et prit en sa main les deux tables de pierre.
5Et l’Éternel descendit dans la nuée, et se tint là avec lui, et cria le nom de l’Éternel.
6Et l’Éternel passa devant lui, et cria : L’Éternel, l’Éternel ! ✶Dieu, miséricordieux et faisant grâce, lent à la colère, et grand en bonté et en vérité,
7gardant la bonté envers des milliers [de générations], pardonnant l’iniquité, la transgression et le péché, et qui ne tient nullement [celui qui en est coupable] pour innocent, qui visite l’iniquité des pères sur les fils, et sur les fils des fils, sur la troisième et sur la quatrième [génération] !
8Et Moïse se hâta, et s’inclina jusqu’à terre, et se prosterna,
9et dit : Si j’ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, Seigneur, que le Seigneur marche, je te prie, au milieu de nous ; car c’est un peuple de cou roide ; et pardonne nos iniquités et nos péchés, et prends-nous pour héritage.
10Et il dit : Voici, j’établis une alliance : devant tout ton peuple, je ferai des merveilles qui n’ont pas été opérées sur toute la terre, ni en aucune nation ; et tout le peuple, au milieu duquel tu es, verra l’œuvre de l’Éternel ; car ce que je vais faire avec toi est une chose terrible.
11– Garde ce que je te commande aujourd’hui : Voici, je vais chasser de devant toi l’Amoréen, et le Cananéen, et le Héthien, et le Phérézien, et le Hévien, et le Jébusien.
12Garde-toi de traiter alliance avec l’habitant du pays dans lequel tu vas entrer, de peur qu’il ne soit en piège au milieu de toi.
13Mais vous démolirez leurs autels, et vous briserez leurs statues, et vous abattrez leurs ashères.
14Car tu ne te prosterneras point devant un autre ✶dieu (car l’Éternel dont le nom est Jaloux, est un ✶Dieu jaloux) :
15de peur que tu ne traites une alliance avec les habitants du pays, et que lorsqu’ils se prostituent après leurs dieux et sacrifient à leurs dieux, on ne t’invite, et que tu ne manges de leur sacrifice,
16et que tu ne prennes de leurs filles pour tes fils, et que leurs filles ne se prostituent après leurs dieux et ne fassent que tes fils se prostituent après leurs dieux.
17– Tu ne te feras point de dieu de fonte.
18– Tu garderas la fête des pains sans levain : pendant sept jours tu mangeras des pains sans levain, comme je te l’ai commandé, au temps fixé du mois d’Abib ; car c’est au mois d’Abib que tu es sorti d’Égypte.
19– Tout ce qui ouvre la matrice est à moi, et tout ce qui naît mâle de ton bétail, le premier-né, tant du gros que du menu bétail.
20Et le premier-né de l’âne, tu le rachèteras avec un agneau ; et si tu ne le rachètes pas, tu lui briseras la nuque. Tout premier-né de tes fils, tu le rachèteras ; et on ne paraîtra pas à vide devant ma face.
21– Six jours tu travailleras, et le septième jour, tu te reposeras ; tu te reposeras, [même] au temps du labourage et de la moisson.
22– Et tu feras la fête des semaines, des premiers fruits de la moisson du froment, et la fête de la récolte, à la fin de l’année.
23– Trois fois l’an, tout mâle d’entre vous paraîtra devant la face du Seigneur, l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël.
24Car je déposséderai les nations devant toi, et j’élargirai tes limites ; et nul ne désirera ton pays, lorsque tu monteras pour paraître devant la face de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, trois fois l’an.
25– Tu n’offriras pas le sang de mon sacrifice avec du pain levé ; et le sacrifice de la fête de la Pâque ne passera pas la nuit jusqu’au matin.
26Tu apporteras à la maison de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, les prémices des premiers fruits de ta terre. – Tu ne cuiras pas le chevreau dans le lait de sa mère.
27Et l’Éternel dit à Moïse : Écris ces paroles ; car, selon la teneur de ces paroles, j’ai fait alliance avec toi et avec Israël.
28Et [Moïse] fut là avec l’Éternel 40 jours et 40 nuits ; il ne mangea point de pain et il ne but point d’eau ; et [l’Éternel] écrivit sur les tables les paroles de l’alliance, les dix paroles.
29*Et il arriva que, lorsque Moïse descendit de la montagne de Sinaï (et les deux tables du témoignage étaient dans la main de Moïse lorsqu’il descendit de la montagne), Moïse ne savait pas que la peau de son visage rayonnait parce qu’il avait parlé avec Lui.
30Et Aaron et tous les fils d’Israël virent Moïse, et voici, la peau de son visage rayonnait, et ils craignirent de s’approcher de lui ;
31et Moïse les appela, et Aaron et tous les princes de l’assemblée revinrent auprès de lui, et Moïse leur parla.
32Et après cela, tous les fils d’Israël s’approchèrent, et il leur commanda tout ce que l’Éternel lui avait dit sur la montagne de Sinaï.
33Et Moïse cessa de parler avec eux : or il avait mis un voile sur son visage.
34Et lorsque Moïse entrait devant l’Éternel pour parler avec lui, il ôtait le voile jusqu’à ce qu’il sorte ; puis il sortait et disait aux fils d’Israël ce qui lui avait été commandé.
35Et les fils d’Israël voyaient le visage de Moïse, que la peau du visage de Moïse rayonnait ; et Moïse remettait le voile sur son visage jusqu’à ce qu’il entre pour parler avec Lui.

1Y JEHOVÁ dijo á Moisés: Alísate dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y escribiré sobre esas tablas las palabras que estaban en las tablas primeras que quebraste.
2Apercíbete, pues, para mañana, y sube por la mañana al monte de Sinaí, y estáme allí sobre la cumbre del monte.
3Y no suba hombre contigo, ni parezca alguno en todo el monte; ni ovejas ni bueyes pazcan delante del monte.
4Y Moisés alisó dos tablas de piedra como las primeras; y levantóse por la mañana, y subió al monte de Sinaí, como le mandó Jehová, y llevó en su mano las dos tablas de piedra.
5Y Jehová descendió en la nube, y estuvo allí con él, proclamando el nombre de Jehová.
6Y pasando Jehová por delante de él, proclamó: Jehová, Jehová, fuerte, misericordioso, y piadoso; tardo para la ira, y grande en benignidad y verdad;
7Que guarda la misericordia en millares, que perdona la iniquidad, la rebelión, y el pecado, y que de ningún modo justificará al malvado; que visita la iniquidad de los padres sobre los hijos y sobre los hijos de los hijos, sobre los terceros, y sobre los cuartos.
8Entonces Moisés, apresurándose, bajó la cabeza hacia el suelo y encorvóse;
9Y dijo: Si ahora, Señor, he hallado gracia en tus ojos, vaya ahora el Señor en medio de nosotros; porque este es pueblo de dura cerviz; y perdona nuestra iniquidad y nuestro pecado, y poséenos.
10Y él dijo: He aquí, yo hago concierto delante de todo tu pueblo: haré maravillas que no han sido hechas en toda la tierra, ni en nación alguna; y verá todo el pueblo en medio del cual estás tú, la obra de Jehová; porque ha de ser cosa terrible la que yo haré contigo.
11Guarda lo que yo te mando hoy; he aquí que yo echo de delante de tu presencia al Amorrheo, y al Cananeo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo.
12Guárdate que no hagas alianza con los moradores de la tierra donde has de entrar, porque no sean por tropezadero en medio de tí:
13Mas derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y talaréis sus bosques:
14Porque no te has de inclinar á dios ajeno; que Jehová, cuyo nombre es Celoso, Dios celoso es.
15Por tanto no harás alianza con los moradores de aquella tierra; porque fornicarán en pos de sus dioses, y sacrificarán á sus dioses, y te llamarán, y comerás de sus sacrificios;
16O tomando de sus hijas para tus hijos, y fornicando sus hijas en pos de sus dioses, harán también fornicar á tus hijos en pos de los dioses de ellas.
17No harás dioses de fundición para ti.
18La fiesta de los ázimos guardarás: siete días comerás por leudar, según te he mandado, en el tiempo del mes de Abib; porque en el mes de Abib saliste de Egipto.
19Todo lo que abre matriz, mío es; y de tu ganado todo primerizo de vaca ó de oveja que fuere macho.
20Empero redimirás con cordero el primerizo del asno; y si no lo redimieres, le has de cortar la cabeza. Redimirás todo primogénito de tus hijos, y no serán vistos vacíos delante de mí.
21Seis días trabajarás, mas en el séptimo día cesarás: cesarás aun en la arada y en la siega.
22Y te harás la fiesta de las semanas á los principios de la siega del trigo: y la fiesta de la cosecha á la vuelta del año.
23Tres veces en el año será visto todo varón tuyo delante del Señoreador Jehová, Dios de Israel.
24Porque yo arrojaré las gentes de tu presencia, y ensancharé tu término: y ninguno codiciará tu tierra, cuando tú subieres para ser visto delante de Jehová tu Dios tres veces en el año.
25No ofrecerás con leudo la sangre de mi sacrificio; ni quedará de la noche para la mañana el sacrificio de la fiesta de la pascua.
26La primicia de los primeros frutos de tu tierra meterás en la casa de Jehová tu Dios. No cocerás el cabrito en la leche de su madre.
27Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Escribe tú estas palabras; porque conforme á estas palabras he hecho la alianza contigo y con Israel.
28Y él estuvo allí con Jehová cuarenta días y cuarenta noches: no comió pan, ni bebió agua; y escribió en tablas las palabras de la alianza, las diez palabras.
29Y aconteció, que descendiendo Moisés del monte Sinaí con las dos tablas del testimonio en su mano, mientras descendía del monte, no sabía él que la tez de su rostro resplandecía, después que hubo con El hablado.
30Y miró Aarón y todos los hijos de Israel á Moisés, y he aquí la tez de su rostro era resplandeciente; y tuvieron miedo de llegarse á él.
31Y llamólos Moisés; y Aarón y todos los príncipes de la congregación volvieron á él, y Moisés les habló.
32Y después se llegaron todos los hijos de Israel, á los cuales mandó todas las cosas que Jehová le había dicho en el monte de Sinaí.
33Y cuando hubo acabado Moisés de hablar con ellos, puso un velo sobre su rostro.
34Y cuando venía Moisés delante de Jehová para hablar con él, quitábase el velo hasta que salía; y saliendo, hablaba con los hijos de Israel lo que le era mandado;
35Y veían los hijos de Israel el rostro de Moisés, que la tez de su rostro era resplandeciente; y volvía Moisés á poner el velo sobre su rostro, hasta que entraba á hablar con El.

1And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
2And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
3And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
4And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
5And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
8And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
9And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
10And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
11Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
12Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
13But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
14For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
15Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
16And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
17Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
18The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
19All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
20But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
21Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
22And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.
23Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
24For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
25Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
26The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
27And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
28And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
29And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
30And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
31And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
32And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
33And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
34But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
35And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
World English Bible
1The LORD said to Moses, “Chisel two stone tablets like the first. I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.
2Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain.
3No one shall come up with you or be seen anywhere on the mountain. Do not let the flocks or herds graze in front of that mountain.”
4He chiseled two tablets of stone like the first; then Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand two stone tablets.
5The LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the LORD’s name.
6The LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, “The LORD! The LORD, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,
7keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.”
8Moses hurried and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped.
9He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go among us, even though this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”
10He said, “Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the LORD; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.
11Observe that which I command you today. Behold, I will drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
12Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare among you;
13but you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their Asherah poles;
14for you shall worship no other god; for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
15“Don’t make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, lest they play the prostitute after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and one call you and you eat of his sacrifice;
16and you take of their daughters to your sons, and their daughters play the prostitute after their gods, and make your sons play the prostitute after their gods.
17“You shall make no cast idols for yourselves.
18“You shall keep the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out of Egypt.
19“All that opens the womb is mine; and all your livestock that is male, the firstborn of cow and sheep.
20You shall redeem the firstborn of a donkey with a lamb. If you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. You shall redeem all the firstborn of your sons. No one shall appear before me empty.
21“Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.
22“You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end.
23Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
24For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders; neither shall any man desire your land when you go up to appear before the LORD, your God, three times in the year.

27The LORD said to Moses, “Write these words; for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
28He was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
29When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.
30When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.
31Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses spoke to them.
32Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them all the commandments that the LORD had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.
33When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.
34But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
35The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone; so Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
