Nadie más puede subir contigo. No quiero ver a nadie en ningún lugar de la montaña, y ningún rebaño o manada debe pastar al pie de la montaña”.

And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

Entonces Moisés cortó dos tablas de piedra como las anteriores y subió al monte Sinaí por la mañana temprano como el Señor le había ordenado, llevando consigo las dos tablas de piedra.
Y Moisés alisó dos tablas de piedra como las primeras; y levantóse por la mañana, y subió al monte de Sinaí, como le mandó Jehová, y llevó en su mano las dos tablas de piedra.

Sigo mostrando mi amor fiel a miles de personas, perdonando la culpa, la rebelión y el pecado. Pero no dejaré a los culpables impunes, el impacto del pecado afectará no sólo a los padres, sino también a sus hijos y nietos, hasta la tercera y cuarta generación”.
Que guarda la misericordia en millares, que perdona la iniquidad, la rebelión, y el pecado, y que de ningún modo justificará al malvado; que visita la iniquidad de los padres sobre los hijos y sobre los hijos de los hijos, sobre los terceros, y sobre los cuartos.
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

Moisés se inclinó rápidamente hasta el suelo y adoró.

Dijo: “Señor, si es verdad que eres feliz conmigo, por favor acompáñanos. Es cierto que este es un pueblo rebelde, pero por favor perdona nuestra culpa y nuestro pecado. Acéptanos como algo que te pertenece especialmente”.
Y dijo: Si ahora, Señor, he hallado gracia en tus ojos, vaya ahora el Señor en medio de nosotros; porque este es pueblo de dura cerviz; y perdona nuestra iniquidad y nuestro pecado, y poséenos.
And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go among us, even though this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”
El Señor dijo: “Verás que estoy haciendo un pacto contigo. Frente a todos ustedes haré milagros que nunca se han hecho, ni entre nadie en ningún lugar de la tierra. Todos aquí y los que están alrededor verán al Señor trabajando, porque lo que voy a hacer por ustedes será increíble.
Y él dijo: He aquí, yo hago concierto delante de todo tu pueblo: haré maravillas que no han sido hechas en toda la tierra, ni en nación alguna; y verá todo el pueblo en medio del cual estás tú, la obra de Jehová; porque ha de ser cosa terrible la que yo haré contigo.
And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

Pero deben seguir cuidadosamente lo que les digo que hagan hoy. ¡Presten atención! Voy a expulsar delante de ustedes a los amorreos, cananeos, hititas, ferezeos, heveos y jebuseos.
Guarda lo que yo te mando hoy; he aquí que yo echo de delante de tu presencia al Amorrheo, y al Cananeo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo.
Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Asegúrense de no acordar un tratado de paz con el pueblo que habite en la tierra a la que van. De lo contrario, se convertirán en una trampa para ustedes.
Guárdate que no hagas alianza con los moradores de la tierra donde has de entrar, porque no sean por tropezadero en medio de tí:
Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
Be careful, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it be for a snare among you;
Porque deben derribar sus altares, derribar sus pilares idólatras y cortar sus postes de Asera,
Mas derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y talaréis sus bosques:
But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
but you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their Asherah poles;
porque no debes adorar a ningún otro dios que no sea el Señor. Su nombre significa exclusivo, porque es un Dios que exige una relación exclusiva.
Porque no te has de inclinar á dios ajeno; que Jehová, cuyo nombre es Celoso, Dios celoso es.
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
for you shall worship no other god; for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
“Asegúrense de no hacer un acuerdode paz con el pueblo que habita enesa tierra, porque cuando se prostituyen adorando y sacrificándose a sus dioses, los invitarán a unirse a ellos, y comerás de sus sacrificios paganos.
Por tanto no harás alianza con los moradores de aquella tierra; porque fornicarán en pos de sus dioses, y sacrificarán á sus dioses, y te llamarán, y comerás de sus sacrificios;

Cuando hagas que sus hijas se casen con tus hijos y esas hijas se prostituyan con sus dioses, harán que tus hijos adoren a sus dioses de la misma manera.
O tomando de sus hijas para tus hijos, y fornicando sus hijas en pos de sus dioses, harán también fornicar á tus hijos en pos de los dioses de ellas.
And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.

Nohagan ningún ídolo.
No harás dioses de fundición para ti.

“Guardarán el Festival de los Panes sin Levadura. Durante siete días comerán panes sin levadura, como se los he ordenado. Lo harán en el momento indicado en el mes de Abib, porque ese fue el mes en que salieron de Egipto.
La fiesta de los ázimos guardarás: siete días comerás por leudar, según te he mandado, en el tiempo del mes de Abib; porque en el mes de Abib saliste de Egipto.
The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

Todo primogénito es mío. Eso incluye a todos los primogénitos de su ganado, de sus manadas y rebaños.

All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.

Pueden redimir el primogénito de un asnoa cambio de un cordero, pero si no lo hacen, deberán romperle el cuello. Todos tus primogénitos deben ser redimidos. Nadie debe presentarse ante mí sin una ofrenda.
Empero redimirás con cordero el primerizo del asno; y si no lo redimieres, le has de cortar la cabeza. Redimirás todo primogénito de tus hijos, y no serán vistos vacíos delante de mí.
But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.

Tres veces al año todos tus varones deben presentarse ante el Señor Yahvé, el Dios de Israel.

Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

Expulsaré las naciones que están delante de ti y ampliaré tus fronteras, y nadie vendrá a tomar tu tierra cuando vayas tres veces al año a presentarte ante el Señor tu Dios.
Porque yo arrojaré las gentes de tu presencia, y ensancharé tu término: y ninguno codiciará tu tierra, cuando tú subieres para ser visto delante de Jehová tu Dios tres veces en el año.
For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.

No ofrezcas pan hecho con levadura cuando me presentes un sacrificio, ni guardes ningún sacrificio de la fiesta de la Pascua hasta la mañana siguiente.
No ofrecerás con leudo la sangre de mi sacrificio; ni quedará de la noche para la mañana el sacrificio de la fiesta de la pascua.
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

Cuando oseches tus cosechas, llevalas primicias a la casa del Señor tu Dios. “No cocines un cabrito joven en la leche de su madre”.
La primicia de los primeros frutos de tu tierra meterás en la casa de Jehová tu Dios. No cocerás el cabrito en la leche de su madre.
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
“You shall bring the first of the first fruits of your ground to the house of the LORD your God. “You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.”
Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés: “Escribe estas palabras, porque son la base del acuerdo que he hecho contigo y con Israel”.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Escribe tú estas palabras; porque conforme á estas palabras he hecho la alianza contigo y con Israel.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

Moisés pasó allí cuarenta días y cuarenta noches con el Señor sin comer pan ni beber agua. Escribió en las tablas las palabras del acuerdo, los Diez Mandamientos.
Y él estuvo allí con Jehová cuarenta días y cuarenta noches: no comió pan, ni bebió agua; y escribió en tablas las palabras de la alianza, las diez palabras.

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
