21E attaccarono il pettorale mediante i suoi anelli agli anelli dell’efod con un cordone violaceo, affinché il pettorale fosse al disopra della banda artisticamente lavorata dell’efod, e non si potesse staccare dall’efod; come l’Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè.

21And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
