1Moisés era un pastor que cuidaba el rebaño de Jetro, su suegro, el sacerdote de Madián. Condujo el rebaño lejos en el desierto hasta que llegó al monte de Dios, el monte Horeb.

1Y APACENTANDO Moisés las ovejas de Jethro su suegro, sacerdote de Madián, llevó las ovejas detrás del desierto, y vino á Horeb, monte de Dios.

1Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
