Yahvé le respondió a Moisés: “Ahora vas a ver lo que le haré al faraón. Una mano poderosa lo obligará a dejarlos ir; es más, ¡esa misma mano poderosa hará que los eche de su país!”
JEHOVÁ respondió á Moisés: Ahora verás lo que yo haré á Faraón; porque con mano fuerte los ha de dejar ir; y con mano fuerte los ha de echar de su tierra.
Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
The LORD said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.”
Dios habló con Moisés y le dijo: “Yo soy Yahvé.

And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:

Me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Todopoderoso, pero no me di a conocer a ellos por mi nombre: Yahvé.
Y aparecí á Abraham, á Isaac y á Jacob bajo el nombre de Dios Omnipotente, mas en mi nombre JEHOVÁ no me notifiqué á ellos.
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

También establecí mi pacto con ellos, prometiendo darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra donde vivieron como extranjeros.

Por lo tanto, diles a los hijos de Israel: ‘Yo soy Yahvé. Los sacaré de los duros trabajos de Egipto, los liberaré de su esclavitud y los rescataré con gran poder y con fuertes castigos.
Por tanto dirás á los hijos de Israel: Yo JEHOVÁ; y yo os sacaré de debajo de las cargas de Egipto, y os libraré de su servidumbre, y os redimiré con brazo extendido, y con juicios grandes:
Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
Therefore tell the children of Israel, ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.
Los tomaré como mi propio pueblo y yo seré su Dios. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, su Dios, el que los saca de los duros trabajos de Egipto.
Y os tomaré por mi pueblo y seré vuestro Dios: y vosotros sabréis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, que os saco de debajo de las cargas de Egipto:
And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

Los llevaré a la tierra que juré darles a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, y se la daré como herencia. Yo soy Yahvé’”.
Y os meteré en la tierra, por la cual alcé mi mano que la daría á Abraham, á Isaac y á Jacob: y yo os la daré por heredad. Yo JEHOVÁ.
And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

Moisés les comunicó todo esto a los hijos de Israel, pero ellos no le hicieron caso, porque estaban muy desanimados por culpa de la cruel esclavitud.
De esta manera habló Moisés á los hijos de Israel: mas ellos no escuchaban á Moisés á causa de la congoja de espíritu, y de la dura servidumbre.
And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

Entonces Yahvé le dijo a Moisés:

“Ve y dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, que deje salir de su país a los hijos de Israel.”
Entra, y habla á Faraón rey de Egipto, que deje ir de su tierra á los hijos de Israel.
Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.”
Pero Moisés le contestó a Yahvé: “Si los hijos de Israel no me hacen caso, ¿cómo me va a escuchar el faraón, si soy tan torpe para hablar?”
Y respondió Moisés delante de Jehová, diciendo: He aquí, los hijos de Israel no me escuchan: ¿cómo pues me escuchará Faraón, mayormente siendo yo incircunciso de labios?
And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel haven’t listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, when I have uncircumcised lips?”
Sin embargo, Yahvé les habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes estrictas para los hijos de Israel y para el faraón, rey de Egipto, con el fin de sacar a los israelitas del país.
Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés y á Aarón, y dióles mandamiento para los hijos de Israel, y para Faraón rey de Egipto, para que sacasen á los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto.
And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

El día que Yahvé le habló a Moisés en Egipto,
Cuando Jehová habló á Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,
And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
On the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,
le dijo: “Yo soy Yahvé. Dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, todo lo que yo te diga”.
Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo: Yo soy JEHOVÁ; di á Faraón rey de Egipto todas las cosas que yo te digo á ti.
