And the Spirit lifted me up, and it brought me to the eastern gate, the one facing east, of the temple of Yahweh. And look, there were twenty-five men in the doorway of the gate, and I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azzur in the midst of them, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the commanders of the people.

Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

And he said to me, “Son of man, these are the men ⌞who devise mischief⌟, and who are offering bad counsel in this city,

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
He said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity, and who give wicked counsel in this city;
who are saying, “The building of houses is not near; the city is the pot, and we are the flesh.
Los cuales dicen: No será tan presto: edifiquemos casas: ésta será la caldera, y nosotros la carne.
Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.
who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This is the cauldron, and we are the meat.’
Therefore prophesy against them! Prophesy, son of man!”

And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

You made your slain ones numerous in this city, and you have filled its streets with slain ones.” ’
Habéis multiplicado vuestros muertos en esta ciudad, y habéis henchido de muertos sus calles.

Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Your slain ones whom you put in its midst, they are the flesh, and it is the pot, and I will bring you out from its midst.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vuestros muertos que habéis puesto en medio de ella, ellos son la carne, y ella es la caldera; mas yo os sacaré á vosotros de en medio de ella.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.
The sword you have feared, and the sword I will bring against you!” ⌞declares⌟ the Lord Yahweh.

By the sword you will fall at the border of Israel; I will judge you, and you will know that I am Yahweh.

And you will know that I am Yahweh, whose rules you did not follow, and whose regulations you did not do, but according to the regulations of the nations that are around you, you acted.” ’
Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová: porque no habéis andado en mis ordenanzas, ni habéis hecho mis juicios, sino según los juicios de las gentes que están en vuestros alrededores habéis hecho.
And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
You will know that I am the LORD, for you have not walked in my statutes. You have not executed my ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are around you.”’”
And it happened that ⌞as I was prophesying⌟, Pelatiahu the son of Benaiahu died! And I fell on my face, and I cried with a loud voice, and I said, “Ah, Lord Yahweh, you are making a complete destruction of the remnant of Israel!”
Y aconteció que, estando yo profetizando, Pelatías hijo de Benaías murió. Entonces caí sobre mi rostro, y clamé con grande voz, y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿harás tú consumación del resto de Israel?
And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, “Ah Lord GOD! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”
And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,

“Son of man, your brothers, your brothers, the men of your redemption, and all of the house of Israel, all of it, ⌞who said concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem⌟, ‘They are far from Yahweh, therefore to us this land was given as a possession.’
Hijo del hombre, tus hermanos, tus hermanos, los hombres de tu parentesco y toda la casa de Israel, toda ella son aquellos á quienes dijeron los moradores de Jerusalem: Alejaos de Jehová; á nosotros es dada la tierra en posesión.
Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.
“Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, the men of your relatives, and all the house of Israel, all of them, are the ones to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Go far away from the LORD. This land has been given to us for a possession.’
Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Though I have removed them far away among the nations and though I have scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary to them for a little while in the countries ⌞to which they have gone⌟.’ ”
Por tanto di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aunque los he echado lejos entre las gentes, y los he esparcido por las tierras, con todo eso les seré por un pequeño santuario en las tierras á donde llegaren.
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
“Therefore say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet I will be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come.”’
Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “And I will assemble you from the peoples, and I will gather you from the countries to which you were scattered among them, and I will give the land of Israel to you.
Di por tanto: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo os recogeré de los pueblos, y os allegaré de las tierras en las cuales estáis esparcidos, y os daré la tierra de Israel.
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
“Therefore say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.”
And when they come there, then they will remove all of its vile idols and all of its detestable things from it.
Y vendrán allá, y quitarán de ella todas sus torpezas, y todas sus abominaciones.
And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
“‘They will come there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.
And I will give to them one heart, and a new spirit I will give in their inner parts. And I will remove their heart of stone from their body, and I will give to them a heart of flesh,

But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.
But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their way on their own heads,’ says the Lord GOD.”
Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, and their wheels were beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel ⌞was over them⌟.
