Ezequiel 13

Porque han engañado ellos a mi pueblo diciéndole ¡Paz!, siendo así que no hay tal paz; mi pueblo construía una muralla, y ellos la recubrían con argamasa suelta sin mezcla de paja.

Por tanto, y por cuanto engañaron á mi pueblo, diciendo, Paz, no habiendo paz; y el uno edificaba la pared, y he aquí que los otros la encostraban con lodo suelto;

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

“‘Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash.
