Sus mentiras han desalentado a los justos, cuando yo no lo quería. Y sus mentiras han alentado a los perversos prometiéndoles vida, aunque continúan viviendo cometiendo toda clase de maldades.
Por cuanto entristecisteis con mentira el corazón del justo, al cual yo no entristecí, y esforzasteis las manos del impío, para que no se apartase de su mal camino, infundiéndole ánimo;
Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
