Ezequiel 16

La parole de l’Eternel me fut aussi adressée, en disant :

Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Again the LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Fils d’homme, fais connaître à Jérusalem ses abominations.

Hijo del hombre, notifica á Jerusalem sus abominaciones,

Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,

“Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations;

Et dis : ainsi a dit le Seigneur l’Eternel à Jérusalem : tu as tiré ton extraction et ta naissance du pays des Cananéens ; ton père était Amorrhéen, et ta mère, Héthienne.

Y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová sobre Jerusalem: Tu habitación y tu raza fué de la tierra de Canaán; tu padre Amorrheo, y tu madre Hethea.

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.

and say, ‘The Lord GOD says to Jerusalem: “Your origin and your birth is of the land of the Canaanite. An Amorite was your father, and your mother was a Hittite.

Et quant à ta naissance, le jour que tu naquis ton nombril ne fut point coupé, tu ne fus point lavée dans l’eau, pour être nettoyée ; tu ne fus point salée de sel, ni emmaillotée.

Y cuanto á tu nacimiento, el día que naciste no fué cortado tu ombligo, ni fuiste lavada con aguas para atemperarte, ni salada con sal, ni fuiste envuelta con fajas.

And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

As for your birth, in the day you were born your navel was not cut. You weren’t washed in water to cleanse you. You weren’t salted at all, nor wrapped in blankets at all.

Il n’y a point eu d’oeil qui ait eu pitié de toi, pour te faire aucune de ces choses, en ayant compassion de toi ; mais tu fus jetée sur le dessus d’un champ, parce qu’on avait horreur de toi le jour que tu naquis.

No hubo ojo que se compadeciese de ti, para hacerte algo de esto, teniendo de ti misericordia; sino que fuiste echada sobre la haz del campo, con menosprecio de tu vida, en el día que naciste.

None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.

No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you, to have compassion on you; but you were cast out in the open field, because you were abhorred in the day that you were born.

Et passant auprès de toi je te vis gisante par terre dans ton sang, et je te dis : vis dans ton sang ; et je te redis encore : vis dans ton sang.

Y yo pasé junto á ti, y te vi sucia en tus sangres, y díjete: En tus sangres, vive; vive, díjete, en tus sangres.

And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.

“‘“When I passed by you, and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you, ‘Though you are in your blood, live!’ Yes, I said to you, ‘Though you are in your blood, live!’

Je t’ai fait croître par millions, comme croît l’herbe d’un champ ; et tu crûs et tu devins grande, tu parvins à une parfaite beauté ; ton corps se forma et tu devins nubile, mais tu étais abandonnée et sans habits.

En millares como la hierba del campo te puse, y fuiste aumentada y engrandecida, y viniste á ser adornada grandemente; los pechos te crecieron, y tu pelo brotó; mas tú estabas desnuda y descubierta.

I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.

I caused you to multiply as that which grows in the field, and you increased and grew great, and you attained to excellent beauty. Your breasts were formed, and your hair grew; yet you were naked and bare.

Et je passai auprès de toi, et je te regardai, et voici ton âge était l’âge d’être mariée : et j’étendis sur toi le pan de ma robe, et je couvris ta nudité ; et je te jurai, et j’entrai en alliance avec toi, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel, et tu devins mienne.

Y pasé yo junto á ti, y te miré, y he aquí que tu tiempo era tiempo de amores; y extendí mi manto sobre ti, y cubrí tu desnudez; y díte juramento, y entré en concierto contigo, dice el Señor Jehová, y fuiste mía:

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

“‘“Now when I passed by you, and looked at you, behold, your time was the time of love; and I spread my garment over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I pledged myself to you and entered into a covenant with you,” says the Lord GOD, “and you became mine.

Et je te lavai dans l’eau, et en t’y plongeant j’ôtai le sang de dessus toi, et je t’oignis d’huile.

Y te lavé con agua, y lavé tus sangres de encima de ti, y ungíte con aceite;

Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

“‘“Then I washed you with water. Yes, I thoroughly washed away your blood from you, and I anointed you with oil.

Je te vêtis de broderie, je te chaussai de peaux de couleur d’hyacinthe, je te ceignis de fin lin, et je te couvris de soie.

Y te vestí de bordado, y te calcé de tejón, y ceñíte de lino, y te vestí de seda.

I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.

I clothed you also with embroidered work and put leather sandals on you. I dressed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.

Je te parai d’ornements, je mis des bracelets en tes mains, et un collier à ton cou.

Y te atavíe con ornamentos, y puse ajorcas en tus brazos, y collar á tu cuello;

I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

I decked you with ornaments, put bracelets on your hands, and put a chain on your neck.

Je mis une bague sur ton front, des pendants à tes oreilles, et une couronne de gloire sur ta tête.

Y puse joyas sobre tus narices, y zarcillos en tus orejas, y diadema de hermosura en tu cabeza.

And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

I put a ring on your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.

Tu fus donc parée d’or et d’argent, et ton vêtement était de fin lin, de soie, et de broderie ; tu mangeas la fleur du froment, et le miel, et l’huile ; et tu devins extrêmement belle, et tu prospéras jusques à régner.

Y fuiste adornada de oro y de plata, y tu vestido fué lino, y seda, y bordado; comiste flor de harina de trigo, y miel, y aceite; y fuiste hermoseada en extremo, y has prosperado hasta reinar.

Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.

Thus you were decked with gold and silver. Your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered work. You ate fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and you prospered to royal estate.

Et ta renommée se répandit parmi les nations à cause de ta beauté, car elle était parfaite, à cause de ma magnificence que j’avais mise sur toi, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel.

Y salióte nombradía entre las gentes á causa de tu hermosura; porque era perfecta, á causa de mi hermosura que yo puse sobre ti, dice el Señor Jehová.

And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

Your renown went out among the nations for your beauty; for it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put on you,” says the Lord GOD.

Mais tu t’es confiée en ta beauté, et tu t’es prostituée à cause de ta renommée, et tu t’es abandonnée à tout passant pour être à lui.

Mas confiaste en tu hermosura, y fornicaste á causa de tu nombradía, y derramaste tus fornicaciones á cuantos pasaron; suya eras.

But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.

“‘“But you trusted in your beauty, and played the prostitute because of your renown, and poured out your prostitution on everyone who passed by. It was his.

Et tu as pris de tes vêtements, et t’en es fait des hauts lieux de diverses couleurs, tels qu’il n’y en a point, ni n’y en aura de semblables, et tu t’y es prostituée.

Y tomaste de tus vestidos, é hicístete diversos altos lugares, y fornicaste en ellos: cosa semejante no vendrá, ni será así.

And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

You took some of your garments, and made for yourselves high places decked with various colors, and played the prostitute on them. This shouldn’t happen, neither shall it be.

Et tu as pris tes bagues magnifiques, faites de mon or et de mon argent, que je t’avais donné, et tu t’en es fait des images d’un mâle, et tu as commis fornication avec elles.

Tomaste asimismo los vasos de tu hermosura de mi oro y de mi plata, que yo te había dado, é hicístete imágenes de hombre, y fornicaste con ellas.

Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,

You also took your beautiful jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given you, and made for yourself images of men, and played the prostitute with them.

Et tu as pris tes vêtements de broderie, et les en as couvertes : et tu as mis mon huile de senteurs et mon parfum devant elles.

Y tomaste tus vestidos de diversos colores, y cubrístelas; y mi aceite y mi perfume pusiste delante de ellas.

And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them.

You took your embroidered garments, covered them, and set my oil and my incense before them.

Et mon pain que je t’avais donné, la fleur du froment, et l’huile, et le miel que je t’avais donné à manger, tu as mis cela devant elle en sacrifice de bonne odeur ; il a été fait ainsi, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel.

Mi pan también, que yo te había dado, la flor de la harina, y el aceite, y la miel, con que yo te mantuve, pusiste delante de ellas para olor suave; y fué así, dice el Señor Jehová.

My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.

My bread also which I gave you, fine flour, oil, and honey, with which I fed you, you even set it before them for a pleasant aroma; and so it was,” says the Lord GOD.

Tu as aussi pris tes fils et tes filles que tu m’avais enfantés, et tu les leur as sacrifiés pour être consumés. Est-ce peu de chose, ce qui est procédé de tes adultères ;

Demás de esto, tomaste tus hijos y tus hijas que me habías engendrado, y los sacrificaste á ellas para consumación. ¿Es poco, esto de tus fornicaciones?

Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,

“‘“Moreover you have taken your sons and your daughters, whom you have borne to me, and you have sacrificed these to them to be devoured. Was your prostitution a small matter,

Que tu aies égorgé mes fils, et que tu les aies livrés pour les faire passer par le feu, à l’honneur de ces idoles ?

Y sacrificaste mis hijos, y dístelos á ellas para que los hiciesen pasar por el fuego.

That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?

that you have slain my children and delivered them up, in causing them to pass through the fire to them?

Et parmi toutes tes abominations et tes adultères, tu ne t’es point ressouvenue du temps de ta jeunesse, quand tu étais sans habits et toute découverte, et gisante par terre dans ton sang.

Y con todas tus abominaciones y tus fornicaciones no te has acordado de los días de tu mocedad, cuando estabas desnuda y descubierta, cuando estabas envuelta en tu sangre.

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.

In all your abominations and your prostitution you have not remembered the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, and were wallowing in your blood.

Et il est arrivé après toute ta malice, (Malheur, Malheur à toi ! dit le Seigneur l’Eternel.)

Y fué que después de toda tu maldad (¡ay, ay de ti! dice el Señor Jehová,)

And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;)

“‘“It has happened after all your wickedness—woe, woe to you!” says the Lord GOD—

Que tu t’es bâti un lieu éminent, et t’es fait des hauts lieux par toutes les places.

Edificástete alto, y te hiciste altar en todas las plazas:

That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street.

“that you have built for yourselves a vaulted place, and have made yourselves a lofty place in every street.

A chaque bout de chemin tu as bâti un haut lieu, et tu as rendu ta beauté abominable, et tu t’es prostituée à tout passant, et tu as multiplié tes adultères.

En toda cabeza de camino edificaste tu altar, y tornaste abominable tu hermosura, y abriste tus piernas á cuantos pasaban, y multiplicaste tus fornicaciones.

Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.

You have built your lofty place at the head of every way, and have made your beauty an abomination, and have opened your feet to everyone who passed by, and multiplied your prostitution.

Tu t’es abandonnée aux enfants d’Egypte, tes voisins qui ont une taille avantageuse ; et tu as multiplié tes adultères pour m’irriter.

Y fornicaste con los hijos de Egipto, tus vecinos, de grandes carnes; y aumentaste tus fornicaciones para enojarme.

Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.

You have also committed sexual immorality with the Egyptians, your neighbors, great of flesh; and have multiplied your prostitution, to provoke me to anger.

Et voici, j’ai étendu ma main sur toi, et j’ai diminué ton état, et je t’ai abandonnée à la volonté de celles qui te haïssaient, savoir des filles des Philistins, lesquelles ont honte de ton train qui n’est que méchanceté.

Por tanto, he aquí que yo extendí sobre ti mi mano, y disminuí tu provisión ordinaria, y te entregué á la voluntad de las hijas de los Filisteos que te aborrecen, las cuales se avergüenzan de tu camino deshonesto.

Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

See therefore, I have stretched out my hand over you, and have diminished your portion, and delivered you to the will of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of your lewd way.

Tu t’es aussi abandonnée aux enfants des Assyriens, parce que tu n’étais pas encore assouvie ; et après avoir commis adultère avec eux, tu n’as point encore été assouvie.

Fornicaste también con los hijos de Assur por no haberte hartado; y fornicaste con ellos, y tampoco te hartaste.

Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.

You have played the prostitute also with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; yes, you have played the prostitute with them, and yet you weren’t satisfied.

Mais tu as multiplié tes adultères dans le pays de Canaan jusques en Caldée, et tu n’as point encore pour cela été assouvie.

Multiplicaste asimismo tu fornicación en la tierra de Canaán y de los Caldeos: ni tampoco con esto te hartaste.

Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.

You have moreover multiplied your prostitution to the land of merchants, to Chaldea; and yet you weren’t satisfied with this.

O ! que ton coeur est lâche, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel, d’avoir fait toutes ces choses-là, qui sont les actions d’une insigne prostituée.

¡Cuán inconstante es tu corazón, dice el Señor Jehová, habiendo hecho todas estas cosas, obras de una poderosa ramera,

How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;

“‘“How weak is your heart,” says the Lord GOD, “since you do all these things, the work of an impudent prostitute;

De t’être bâti un lieu éminent à chaque bout de chemin, et d’avoir fait ton haut lieu dans toutes les places. Et encore n’as-tu pas fait comme les femmes débauchées, en ce que tu n’as point tenu compte du salaire.

Edificando tus altares en cabeza de todo camino, y haciendo tus altares en todas las plazas! Y no fuiste semejante á ramera, menospreciando el salario,

In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

in that you build your vaulted place at the head of every way, and make your lofty place in every street, and have not been as a prostitute, in that you scorn pay.

Femme adultère, tu prends des étrangers au lieu de ton mari.

Sino como mujer adúltera, por cuanto que en lugar de su marido recibe á ajenos.

But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!

“‘“Adulterous wife, who takes strangers instead of her husband!

On donne un salaire à toutes les prostituées, mais toi tu as donné à tous tes adultères les présents, que ton mari t’avait fait et tu leur as fait des présents, afin que de toutes parts ils vinssent vers toi, pour se plonger avec toi dans le crime.

A todas las rameras dan dones; mas tú diste tus dones á todos tus enamorados; y les diste presentes, porque entrasen á ti de todas partes por tus fornicaciones.

They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.

People give gifts to all prostitutes; but you give your gifts to all your lovers, and bribe them, that they may come to you on every side for your prostitution.

Et il t’est arrivé dans tes fornications tout le contraire de ce qui arrive aux autres femmes, car personne ne te recherchant pour commettre adultère tu as donné des présents, et aucun présent ne t’a été donné ; tu as donc agi tout au contraire des autres femmes de mauvaise vie.

Y ha sido en ti al contrario de las mujeres en tus fornicaciones, ni nunca después de ti será así fornicado; porque en dar tú dones, y no ser dados dones á ti, ha sido al contrario.

And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.

You are different from other women in your prostitution, in that no one follows you to play the prostitute; and whereas you give hire, and no hire is given to you, therefore you are different.”’

C’est pourquoi, ô adultère, écoute la parole de l’Eternel :

Por tanto, ramera, oye palabra de Jehová:

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

“Therefore, prostitute, hear the LORD’s word:

Ainsi a dit le Seigneur l’Eternel : parce que ton venin s’est répandu, et que dans tes excès tu t’es abandonnée à ceux que tu aimais, et à tes abominables idoles, et que tu as mis à mort tes enfants, lesquels tu leur as donnés ;

Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto han sido descubiertas tus vergüenzas, y tu confusión ha sido manifestada á tus enamorados en tus fornicaciones, y á los ídolos de tus abominaciones, y en la sangre de tus hijos, los cuales les diste;

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;

‘The Lord GOD says, “Because your filthiness was poured out, and your nakedness uncovered through your prostitution with your lovers; and because of all the idols of your abominations, and for the blood of your children, that you gave to them;

A cause de cela voici, je vais assembler tous tes adultères, avec lesquels tu as pris tes plaisirs, et tous ceux que tu as aimés, avec tous ceux que tu as haïs ; même je les assemblerai de toutes parts contre toi, et je découvrirai ta honte à leurs yeux et ils verront ton infamie.

Por tanto, he aquí que yo junto todos tus enamorados con los cuales tomaste placer, y todos los que amaste, con todos los que aborreciste; y reunirélos contra ti alrededor, y descubriréles tu vergüenza, y verán toda tu torpeza.

Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

therefore see, I will gather all your lovers, with whom you have taken pleasure, and all those whom you have loved, with all those whom you have hated. I will even gather them against you on every side, and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.

Et je te jugerai comme on juge les femmes adultères, et celles qui répandent le sang ; et je te livrerai pour être mise à mort selon ma fureur et ma jalousie.

Y yo te juzgaré por las leyes de las adúlteras, y de las que derraman sangre; y te daré en sangre de ira y de celo.

And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

I will judge you as women who break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will bring on you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

Je te livrerai, dis-je, entre leurs mains ; et ils détruiront tes lieux éminents, et démoliront tes hauts lieux ; ils te dépouilleront de tes vêtements, et emporteront tes bagues dont tu te parais, et te laisseront sans habits et toute découverte.

Y te entregaré en mano de ellos: y destruirán tu alto, y derribarán tus altares, y te harán desnudar de tus ropas, y se llevarán los vasos de tu gloria, y te dejarán desnuda y descubierta.

And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.

I will also give you into their hand, and they will throw down your vaulted place, and break down your lofty places. They will strip you of your clothes and take your beautiful jewels. They will leave you naked and bare.

Et on fera monter contre toi un amas de gens qui t’assommeront de pierres, et qui te perceront avec leurs épées.

Y harán subir contra ti reunión de gente, y te apedrearán con piedras, y te atravesarán con sus espadas.

They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.

They will also bring up a company against you, and they will stone you with stones, and thrust you through with their swords.

Puis ils mettront le feu à tes maisons, et feront ces exécutions sur toi en la présence de plusieurs femmes, et je te garderai bien de t’abandonner, et même tu ne donneras plus de salaires.

Y quemarán tus casas á fuego, y harán en ti juicios á ojos de muchas mujeres; y hacerte he cesar de ser ramera, ni tampoco darás más don.

And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

They will burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women. I will cause you to cease from playing the prostitute, and you will also give no hire any more.

Et je satisferai ma fureur sur toi, tellement que ma jalousie se retirera de toi ; et je serai en repos, et ne me courroucerai plus.

Y haré reposar mi ira sobre ti, y apartaráse de ti mi celo, y descansaré de más enojarme.

So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

So I will cause my wrath toward you to rest, and my jealousy will depart from you. I will be quiet, and will not be angry any more.

Parce que tu ne t’es point souvenue du temps de ta jeunesse, et que tu m’as provoqué par toutes ces choses-là ; à cause de cela voici, j’ai fait tomber la peine de tes crimes sur ta tête, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel ; et tu n’as pas fait cette réflexion dans toutes tes abominations.

Por cuanto no te acordaste de los días de tu mocedad, y me provocaste á ira en todo esto, por eso, he aquí yo también he tornado tu camino sobre tu cabeza, dice el Señor Jehová; pues ni aun has pensado sobre todas tus abominaciones.

Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.

“‘“Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, but have raged against me in all these things; therefore, behold, I also will bring your way on your head,” says the Lord GOD: “and you shall not commit this lewdness with all your abominations.

Voici, tous ceux qui usent de proverbe feront un proverbe de toi, en disant : telle qu’est la mère, telle est sa fille.

He aquí que todo proverbista hará de ti proverbio, diciendo: Como la madre, tal su hija.

Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

“‘“Behold, everyone who uses proverbs will use this proverb against you, saying, ‘As is the mother, so is her daughter.’

Tu es la fille de ta mère, qui a dédaigné son mari et ses enfants ; et tu es la soeur de chacune de tes soeurs, qui ont dédaigné leurs maris et leurs enfants ; votre mère était Héthienne, et votre père était Amorrhéen.

Hija de tu madre eres tú, que desechó á su marido y á sus hijos; y hermana de tus hermanas eres tú, que desecharon á sus maridos y á sus hijos: vuestra madre fué Hethea, y vuestro padre Amorrheo.

Thou art thy mother’s daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

You are the daughter of your mother, who loathes her husband and her children; and you are the sister of your sisters, who loathed their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

Et ta grande soeur c’est Samarie, avec les villes de son ressort, laquelle se tient à ta gauche ; et ta petite soeur qui se tient à ta droite, c’est Sodome avec les villes de son ressort.

Y tu hermana mayor es Samaria con su hijas, la cual habita á tu mano izquierda; y tu hermana la menor que tú es Sodoma con sus hijas, la cual habita á tu mano derecha.

And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

Your elder sister is Samaria, who dwells at your left hand, she and her daughters; and your younger sister, who dwells at your right hand, is Sodom with her daughters.

Et tu n’as pas seulement marché dans leurs voies, et fait selon leurs abominations, comme si c’eût été fort peu de chose, mais tu t’es corrompue plus qu’elles dans toutes tes voies.

Y aun no anduviste en sus caminos, ni hiciste según sus abominaciones; antes, como si esto fuera poco y muy poco, te corrompiste más que ellas en todos tus caminos.

Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

Yet you have not walked in their ways, nor done their abominations; but soon you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.

Je suis vivant dit le Seigneur l’Eternel, que Sodome ta soeur, elle ni les villes de son ressort, n’ont point fait comme tu as fait, toi et les villes de ton ressort.

Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, Sodoma tu hermana, con sus hijas, no ha hecho como hiciste tú y tus hijas.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “Sodom your sister has not done, she nor her daughters, as you have done, you and your daughters.

Voici, ç’a été ici l’iniquité de Sodome ta soeur, l’orgueil, l’abondance de pain, et une molle oisiveté ; elle a eu de quoi, elle et les villes de son ressort, mais elle n’a point assisté l’affligé, et le pauvre.

He aquí que esta fué la maldad de Sodoma tu hermana: soberbia, hartura de pan, y abundancia de ociosidad tuvo ella y sus hijas; y no corroboró la mano del afligido y del menesteroso.

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Elles se sont élevées, et ont commis abomination devant moi, et je les ai exterminées, comme j’ai vu qu’il était à propos de faire.

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Et quant à Samarie, elle n’a pas péché la moitié autant que toi ; car tu as multiplié tes abominations plus qu’elles, et tu as justifié tes soeurs par toutes les abominations que tu as commises.

Y Samaria no cometió ni la mitad de tus pecados; porque tú multiplicaste tus abominaciones más que ellas, y has justificado á tus hermanas con todas tus abominaciones que hiciste.

Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

Samaria hasn’t committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters by all your abominations which you have done.

C’est pourquoi aussi porte ta confusion, toi qui as jugé chacune de tes soeurs, à cause de tes péchés, par lesquels tu as été rendue plus abominable qu’elles ; elles sont plus justes que toi ; c’est pourquoi aussi sois honteuse, et porte ta confusion, vu que tu as justifié tes soeurs.

Tú también, que juzgaste á tus hermanas, lleva tu vergüenza en tus pecados que hiciste más abominables que ellas: más justas son que tú: avergüénzate pues tú también, y lleva tu confusión, pues que has justificado á tus hermanas.

Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.

You also bear your own shame yourself, in that you have given judgment for your sisters; through your sins that you have committed more abominable than they, they are more righteous than you. Yes, be also confounded, and bear your shame, in that you have justified your sisters.

Quand je ramènerai leurs captifs, les captifs, dis-je, de Sodome, et des villes de son ressort, et les captifs de Samarie, et des villes de son ressort, je ramènerai aussi les captifs de ta captivité parmi elles ;

Yo pues haré tornar sus cautivos, los cautivos de Sodoma y de sus hijas, y los cautivos de Samaria y de sus hijas, y los cautivos de tus cautiverios entre ellas,

When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:

“‘“I will reverse their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and the captivity of your captives among them;

Afin que tu portes ta confusion, et que tu sois confuse à cause de tout ce que tu as fait, et que tu les consoles.

Para que tú lleves tu confusión, y te avergüences de todo lo que has hecho, siéndoles tú motivo de consuelo.

That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

that you may bear your own shame, and may be ashamed because of all that you have done, in that you are a comfort to them.

Quand ta soeur Sodome, et les villes de son ressort, retourneront à leur état précédent ; et quand Samarie, et les villes de son ressort, retourneront à leur état précédent, aussi toi, et les villes de ton ressort, retournerez à votre état précédent.

Y tus hermanas, Sodoma con sus hijas y Samaria con sus hijas, volverán á su primer estado; tú también y tus hijas volveréis á vuestro primer estado.

When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.

Your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, will return to their former estate; and Samaria and her daughters will return to their former estate; and you and your daughters will return to your former estate.

Or ta bouche n’a point fait mention de ta soeur Sodome au jour de tes fiertés.

Sodoma, tu hermana, no fué nombrada en tu boca en el tiempo de tus soberbias,

For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,

For your sister Sodom was not mentioned by your mouth in the day of your pride,

Avant que ta méchanceté fût découverte ; comme elle le fut au temps de l’opprobre des filles de Syrie, et de toutes celles d’alentour, savoir les filles des Philistins, qui te pillèrent de tous côtés.

Antes que tu maldad se descubriese, como en el tiempo de la vergüenza de las hijas de Siria y de todas las hijas de los Filisteos alrededor, que te menosprecian en contorno.

Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise thee round about.

Tu portes sur toi ton énormité et tes abominations, dit l’Eternel.

Tú has llevado tu enormidad y tus abominaciones, dice Jehová.

Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.

You have borne your lewdness and your abominations,” says the LORD.

Car ainsi a dit le Seigneur l’Eternel : je te ferai comme tu as fait, quand tu as méprisé l’exécration du serment, en violant l’alliance.

Empero así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Haré yo contigo como tú hiciste, que menospreciaste el juramento para invalidar el pacto?

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

“‘For the Lord GOD says: “I will also deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

Mais pourtant je me souviendrai de l’alliance que j’ai traitée avec toi dans les jours de ta jeunesse, et j’établirai avec toi une alliance éternelle.

Antes yo tendré memoria de mi pacto que concerté contigo en los días de tu mocedad, y te confirmaré un pacto sempiterno.

Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

Et tu te souviendras de tes voies, et en seras confuse, lorsque tu recevras tes soeurs, tant tes plus grandes, que tes plus petites, et je te les donnerai pour filles ; mais non pas selon ton alliance.

Y acordarte has de tus caminos y te avergonzarás, cuando recibirás á tus hermanas, las mayores que tú con las menores que tú, las cuales yo te daré por hijas, mas no por tu pacto.

Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.

Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, your elder sisters and your younger; and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant.

Car j’établirai mon alliance avec toi, et tu sauras que je suis l’Eternel.

Y confirmaré mi pacto contigo, y sabrás que yo soy Jehová;

And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:

Afin que tu te souviennes de ta vie passée, que tu en sois honteuse, et que tu n’ouvres plus la bouche, à cause de ta confusion, après que j’aurai été apaisé envers toi, pour tout ce que tu auras fait, dit le Seigneur l’Eternel.

Para que te acuerdes, y te avergüences, y nunca más abras la boca á causa de tu vergüenza, cuando me aplacare para contigo de todo lo que hiciste, dice el Señor Jehová.

That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.

that you may remember, and be confounded, and never open your mouth any more because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done,” says the Lord GOD.’”
