Ezequiel 17

Dann hat er einen Sprößling des Königshauses genommen und einen Vertrag mit ihm geschlossen und ihn durch einen Eid verpflichtet; die Vornehmsten des Landes aber hat er mit sich genommen,

Tomó también de la simiente del reino, é hizo con él alianza, y trájole á juramento; y tomó los fuertes de la tierra,

And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:

He took one of the royal offspring, and made a covenant with him. He also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land,
