Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

Filho do homem, propõe um enigma, e fala uma parábola à casa de Israel.
Hijo del hombre, propón una figura, y compón una parábola á la casa de Israel.
Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;

E dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Uma grande águia, de grandes asas e de comprida plumagem, cheia de penas de várias cores, veio ao Líbano, e tomou o mais alto ramo de um cedro.
Y dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Una grande águila, de grandes alas y de largos miembros, llena de plumas de diversos colores, vino al Líbano, y tomó el cogollo del cedro:
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “A great eagle with great wings and long feathers, full of feathers which had various colors, came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.
Arrancou o topo de seus renovos, e o trouxe à terra de comércio; na cidade de mercadores ela o pôs.
Arrancó el principal de sus renuevos, y llevólo á la tierra de mercaderes, y púsolo en la ciudad de los negociantes.

E tomou da semente da terra, e a lançou em um campo fértil; tomando-a, plantou-a junto a grandes águas, como se fosse um salgueiro.
Tomó también de la simiente de la tierra, y púsola en un campo bueno para sembrar, plantóla junto á grandes aguas, púsola como un sauce.
He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.

E brotou, e tornou-se uma videira larga, porém de baixa estatura; seus ramos olhavam para ela, e suas raízes estavam debaixo dela; e tornou-se uma videira, que produzia ramos e brotava renovos.
Y brotó, é hízose una vid de mucha rama, baja de estatura, que sus ramas la miraban, y sus raíces estaban debajo de ella: así que se hizo una vid, y arrojó sarmientos, y echó mugrones.

E houve outra grande águia, de grandes asas e cheia de penas; e eis que esta videira juntou suas raízes para perto dela, e estendeu seus ramos para ela desde o lugar onde estava plantada, para que fosse regada.
Y fué otra grande águila, de grandes alas y de muchas plumas; y he aquí que esta vid juntó cerca de ella sus raíces, y extendió hacia ella sus ramos, para ser regada por ella por los surcos de su plantío.
There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.

Em uma boa terra, junto a muitas águas ela estava plantada, para produzir ramos e dar fruto, para que fosse uma videira excelente.
En un buen campo, junto á muchas aguas fué plantada, para que hiciese ramos y llevase fruto, y para que fuese vid robusta.

Dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Por acaso a videira terá sucesso? Não arrancará a águia suas raízes, e cortará seu fruto, e se secará? Todas as folhas que dela brotavam se secarão; e nem é necessário um braço grande, nem muita gente, para a arrancar desde suas raízes.
Di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Será prosperada? ¿No arrancará sus raíces, y destruirá su fruto, y secaráse? Todas las hojas de su lozanía secará, y no con gran brazo, ni con mucha gente, arrancándola de sus raíces.
Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
“Say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Will it prosper? Won’t he pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, that it may wither, that all its fresh springing leaves may wither? It can’t be raised from its roots by a strong arm or many people.
Mas eis que, mesmo estando plantada, terá ela sucesso? Por acaso, quando o vento oriental a tocar, ela não se secará por completo? Nos canteiros de seus renovos se secará.
Y he aquí que plantada está ella, ¿será prosperada? ¿No se secará del todo cuando el viento solano la tocare? En los surcos de su verdor se secará.

Então veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Dize agora à casa rebelde: Por acaso não sabeis o que significam estas coisas? Dize-lhes: Eis que o rei da Babilônia veio a Jerusalém, tomou o teu rei e seus príncipes, e os levou consigo à Babilônia.
Di ahora á la casa rebelde: ¿No habéis entendido qué significan estas cosas? Diles: He aquí que el rey de Babilonia vino á Jerusalem, y tomó tu rey y sus príncipes, y llevólos consigo á Babilonia.
Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;
“Say now to the rebellious house, ‘Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them, ‘Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took its king, and its princes, and brought them to him to Babylon.
E tomou um da família real, fez pacto com ele, fazendo-lhe prestar juramento; e tomou os poderosos da terra consigo ,
Tomó también de la simiente del reino, é hizo con él alianza, y trájole á juramento; y tomó los fuertes de la tierra,
And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:
He took one of the royal offspring, and made a covenant with him. He also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land,
Para que o reino ficasse humilhado, e não se levantasse; mas podendo continuar a existir se guardasse seu pacto.
Para que el reino fuese abatido y no se levantase, sino que guardase su alianza y estuviese en ella.
That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

Porém rebelou-se contra ele, enviando seus mensageiros ao Egito, para que lhe dessem cavalos e muita gente. Por acaso terá sucesso, ou escapará aquele que faz tais coisas? Poderá quebrar o pacto, e ainda assim escapar?
Rebelóse empero contra él enviando sus embajadores á Egipto, para que le diese caballos y mucha gente. ¿Será prosperado, escapará, el que estas cosas hizo? ¿y el que rompió la alianza, podrá huir?
But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?

Vivo eu, diz o Senhor DEUS, que morrerá em meio da Babilônia, no lugar do rei que o fez reinar, cujo juramento desprezou, e cujo pacto quebrou.
Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que morirá en medio de Babilonia, en el lugar del rey que le hizo reinar, cuyo juramento menospreció, y cuya alianza con él hecha rompió.
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.
E Faraó não lhe fará coisa alguma nem com grande exército, nem com muita multidão na batalha, quando levantarem cerco e edificarem fortificações para destruírem muitas vidas.
Y no con grande ejército, ni con mucha compañía hará con él Faraón en la batalla, cuando funden baluarte y edifiquen bastiones para cortar muchas vidas.
Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:

Porque desprezou o juramento, quebrando o pacto; e eis que havia firmado compromisso; havendo pois feito todas todas estas coisas, não escapará.
Pues menospreció el juramento, para invalidar el concierto cuando he aquí que había dado su mano, é hizo todas estas cosas, no escapará.
Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.
For he has despised the oath by breaking the covenant; and behold, he had given his hand, and yet has done all these things. He won’t escape.
Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Vivo eu, que meu juramento que ele desprezou, e meu pacto que ele quebrou, isto retribuirei sobre sua cabeça.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vivo yo, que el juramento mío que menospreció, y mi concierto que ha invalidado, tornaré sobre su cabeza.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘As I live, I will surely bring on his own head my oath that he has despised and my covenant that he has broken.
E estenderei sobre ele minha rede, e ficará preso em minha malha; e eu o levarei à Babilônia, e ali entrarei em juízo contra ele, por sua rebeldia com que se rebelou contra mim.
Y extenderé sobre él mi red, y será preso en mi malla; y hacerlo he venir á Babilonia, y allí estaré á juicio con él, por su prevaricación con que contra mí se ha rebelado.
And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me.

E todos os seus fugitivos com todas as suas tropas cairão à espada, e os que restarem serão dispersos a todos os ventos; e sabereis que fui eu, o SENHOR, que falei.
Y todos sus fugitivos con todos sus escuadrones caerán á cuchillo, y los que quedaren serán esparcidos á todo viento; y sabréis que yo Jehová he hablado.
And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.
All his fugitives in all his bands will fall by the sword, and those who remain will be scattered toward every wind. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken it.’
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Também eu tomarei do topo daquele alto cedro, e o plantarei; do mais alto de seus renovos cortarei o mais tenro, e eu o plantarei sobre um monte alto e sublime;
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Y tomaré yo del cogollo de aquel alto cedro, y pondrélo; del principal de sus renuevos cortaré un tallo, y plantarlo he yo sobre el monte alto y sublime;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:
“The Lord GOD says: ‘I will also take some of the lofty top of the cedar, and will plant it. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
No monte alto de Israel o plantarei, e produzirá ramos, dará fruto, e se tronará um cedro excelente; e habitarão debaixo dele todas as aves, todos os que voam; e na sombra de seus ramos habitarão.
En el monte alto de Israel lo plantaré, y alzará ramos, y llevará fruto, y haráse magnífico cedro; y habitarán debajo de él todas las aves, toda cosa que vuela habitará á la sombra de sus ramos.
In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
I will plant it in the mountain of the height of Israel; and it will produce boughs, and bear fruit, and be a good cedar. Birds of every kind will dwell in the shade of its branches.
Assim todas os árvores do campo saberão que eu, o SENHOR, rebaixei a árvore alta, levantei a árvore baixa, sequei a árvore verde, e tornei verde a árvore seca. Eu, o SENHOR, falei, e farei.
Y sabrán todos los árboles del campo que yo Jehová abatí el árbol sublime, levanté el árbol bajo, hice secar el árbol verde, é hice reverdecer el árbol seco. Yo Jehová hablé é hice.
And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
All the trees of the field will know that I, the LORD, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. “‘I, the LORD, have spoken and have done it.’”
