Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Una grande aquila, con grandi ali, e lunghe penne, piena di piuma variata, venne al Libano, e ne prese la vetta di un cedro.
Y dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Una grande águila, de grandes alas y de largos miembros, llena de plumas de diversos colores, vino al Líbano, y tomó el cogollo del cedro:
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “A great eagle with great wings and long feathers, full of feathers which had various colors, came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.
Ella spiccò la sommità de' suoi ramoscelli teneri, e li trasportò in un paese di traffico, e li pose in una città di mercatanti.
Arrancó el principal de sus renuevos, y llevólo á la tierra de mercaderes, y púsolo en la ciudad de los negociantes.

E prese della stirpe del paese, e la pose in un campo da sementa; e la portò presso a grandi acque, e la pose a guisa di magliuolo.
Tomó también de la simiente de la tierra, y púsola en un campo bueno para sembrar, plantóla junto á grandes aguas, púsola como un sauce.
He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.

E quella germogliò, e divenne vite prospera, bassa di pianta, avendo i suoi tralci rivolti verso l'aquila, e rimanendo le sue radici nel proprio luogo di essa; così divenne vite, e fece de' tralci, e mise dei rami madornali.
Y brotó, é hízose una vid de mucha rama, baja de estatura, que sus ramas la miraban, y sus raíces estaban debajo de ella: así que se hizo una vid, y arrojó sarmientos, y echó mugrones.

Or vi fu un'altra grande aquila, con grandi ali, e con molte penne; ed ecco, quella vite voltò le sue radici ad essa, e stese verso lei i suoi tralci, acciocchè la rigasse co' rigagnoli delle sue piante.
Y fué otra grande águila, de grandes alas y de muchas plumas; y he aquí que esta vid juntó cerca de ella sus raíces, y extendió hacia ella sus ramos, para ser regada por ella por los surcos de su plantío.

Quella era piantata in un buon terreno, presso a grandi acque, per metter pampani, e portar frutto, e divenire una vite magnifica.
En un buen campo, junto á muchas aguas fué plantada, para que hiciese ramos y llevase fruto, y para que fuese vid robusta.

Di': Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Prospererebbe ella? quell'acquila non divellerà ella le sue radici? e non riciderà ella il suo frutto, sì che si secchi? e non si seccheranno tutte le cime, ed i pampani ch'ella ha messi? e non farà ella ciò con grande sforzo, e con molto popolo, per torla via fin dalle radici?
Di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Será prosperada? ¿No arrancará sus raíces, y destruirá su fruto, y secaráse? Todas las hojas de su lozanía secará, y no con gran brazo, ni con mucha gente, arrancándola de sus raíces.
Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
“Say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Will it prosper? Won’t he pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, that it may wither, that all its fresh springing leaves may wither? It can’t be raised from its roots by a strong arm or many people.
Ora, eccola piantata; prospererà ella però? non si seccherà ella del tutto, come prima il vento orientale l'avrà tocca? ella si seccherà sopra i rigagnoli che l'avran fatta germogliare.
Y he aquí que plantada está ella, ¿será prosperada? ¿No se secará del todo cuando el viento solano la tocare? En los surcos de su verdor se secará.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Di' ora a questa casa ribelle: Non conoscete voi, che si voglion dir queste cose? Di': Ecco, il re di Babilona venne in Gerusalemme, e prese il re, e i principi d'essa; e li fece venire appresso di sè in Babilonia.
Di ahora á la casa rebelde: ¿No habéis entendido qué significan estas cosas? Diles: He aquí que el rey de Babilonia vino á Jerusalem, y tomó tu rey y sus príncipes, y llevólos consigo á Babilonia.
Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

E prese uno del sangue reale, e fece patto con lui, e lo fece giurare, e prese i possenti del paese;
Tomó también de la simiente del reino, é hizo con él alianza, y trájole á juramento; y tomó los fuertes de la tierra,
And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:
He took one of the royal offspring, and made a covenant with him. He also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land,
acciocchè il reame fosse basso e non si elevasse; e serbasse il patto fatto con lui, acciocchè restasse in piè.
Para que el reino fuese abatido y no se levantase, sino que guardase su alianza y estuviese en ella.
That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

Rebelóse empero contra él enviando sus embajadores á Egipto, para que le diese caballos y mucha gente. ¿Será prosperado, escapará, el que estas cosas hizo? ¿y el que rompió la alianza, podrá huir?
But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?

Come io vivo, dice il Signore Iddio, egli morrà in mezzo di Babilonia, luogo del re che l'avea costituito re, ed appresso di lui, il cui giuramento egli ha sprezzato, e il cui patto egli ha rotto.
Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que morirá en medio de Babilonia, en el lugar del rey que le hizo reinar, cuyo juramento menospreció, y cuya alianza con él hecha rompió.
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.
E Faraone, con grande esercito, e con gran gente radunata, non farà nulla con lui, in guerra; dopo che colui avrà fatti degli argini, ed avrà edificate delle bastie, per distruggere molte anime.
Y no con grande ejército, ni con mucha compañía hará con él Faraón en la batalla, cuando funden baluarte y edifiquen bastiones para cortar muchas vidas.
Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:

Poi ch'egli ha sprezzato il giuramento fatto con esecrazione, rompendo il patto, ed ecco, dopo aver data la mano, pure ha fatte tutte queste cose; egli non iscamperà.
Pues menospreció el juramento, para invalidar el concierto cuando he aquí que había dado su mano, é hizo todas estas cosas, no escapará.
Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.

Perciò, così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Come io vivo, io gli renderò in sul capo il mio giuramento ch'egli ha sprezzato, e il mio patto ch'egli ha rotto.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vivo yo, que el juramento mío que menospreció, y mi concierto que ha invalidado, tornaré sobre su cabeza.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘As I live, I will surely bring on his own head my oath that he has despised and my covenant that he has broken.
Ed io stenderò la mia rete sopra lui, ed egli sarà preso ne' miei lacci, ed io lo farò venire in Babilonia, e quivi verrò in giudicio, con lui, del misfatto, ch'egli ha commesso contro a me.
Y extenderé sobre él mi red, y será preso en mi malla; y hacerlo he venir á Babilonia, y allí estaré á juicio con él, por su prevaricación con que contra mí se ha rebelado.
And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me.

E tutti quelli delle sue schiere, che fuggiranno, caderanno per la spada; e quelli che rimarranno saran dispersi ad ogni vento; e voi conoscerete che io, il Signore, ho parlato.
Y todos sus fugitivos con todos sus escuadrones caerán á cuchillo, y los que quedaren serán esparcidos á todo viento; y sabréis que yo Jehová he hablado.
And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.
All his fugitives in all his bands will fall by the sword, and those who remain will be scattered toward every wind. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken it.’
Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Pur prenderò una delle vette di quell'alto cedro, e la porrò; io spiccherò un tenero ramoscello dalla cima de' suoi rami, e lo pianterò sopra un alto ed elevato monte.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Y tomaré yo del cogollo de aquel alto cedro, y pondrélo; del principal de sus renuevos cortaré un tallo, y plantarlo he yo sobre el monte alto y sublime;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:
“The Lord GOD says: ‘I will also take some of the lofty top of the cedar, and will plant it. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
Io lo pianterò nell'alto monte d'Israele, ed egli alzerà i suoi rami, e porterà frutto, e diverrà cedro eccellente; e sotto esso, all'ombra dei suoi rami, si ripareranno gli uccelli d'ogni specie.
En el monte alto de Israel lo plantaré, y alzará ramos, y llevará fruto, y haráse magnífico cedro; y habitarán debajo de él todas las aves, toda cosa que vuela habitará á la sombra de sus ramos.
In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
I will plant it in the mountain of the height of Israel; and it will produce boughs, and bear fruit, and be a good cedar. Birds of every kind will dwell in the shade of its branches.
E tutti gli alberi della campagna conosceranno che io sono il Signore, che abbasso gli alberi alti, e innalzo gli alberi bassi; che dissecco gli alberi verdi, e fo germogliare gli alberi secchi. Io, il Signore, ho parlato, ed altresì metterò la cosa ad effetto.
Y sabrán todos los árboles del campo que yo Jehová abatí el árbol sublime, levanté el árbol bajo, hice secar el árbol verde, é hice reverdecer el árbol seco. Yo Jehová hablé é hice.
And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
All the trees of the field will know that I, the LORD, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. “‘I, the LORD, have spoken and have done it.’”
