Wenn ihr aber fragt: ›Warum soll der Sohn die Schuld seines Vaters nicht mittragen?‹, so bedenkt wohl: Der Sohn hat doch Recht und Gerechtigkeit geübt, hat alle meine Satzungen beobachtet und nach ihnen gehandelt: darum soll er am Leben bleiben!
Y si dijereis: ¿Por qué el hijo no llevará por el pecado de su padre? Porque el hijo hizo juicio y justicia, guardó todas mis ordenanzas, y las hizo, de cierto vivirá.
Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
