Il dévasta leurs palais ; Il ravageait leurs villes ; La terre et tout ce qu'elle contenait fut épouvantée Du bruit de son rugissement.

Y conoció sus viudas, y asoló sus ciudades; y la tierra fué asolada, y su abundancia, á la voz de su bramido.
