Ezequiel 19

*Et toi, élève une complainte sur les princes d’Israël,

Y TÚ levanta endecha sobre los príncipes de Israel.

Moreover take thou up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

“Moreover, take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

et dis : Qu’était ta mère ? Une lionne couchée parmi les lions, élevant ses petits au milieu des lionceaux.

Y dirás: ¡Cómo se echó entre los leones tu madre la leona! entre los leoncillos crió sus cachorros.

And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.

and say, ‘What was your mother? A lioness. She couched among lions, in the middle of the young lions she nourished her cubs.

Et elle éleva un de ses petits ; il devint un jeune lion et apprit à déchirer la proie ; il dévora des hommes.

E hizo subir uno de sus cachorros: vino á ser leoncillo, y aprendió á prender presa, y á devorar hombres.

And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.

Et les nations entendirent parler de lui ; il fut pris dans leur fosse, et on le mena avec un anneau à ses narines dans le pays d’Égypte.

Y ella tuvo varas fuertes para cetros de señores; y levantóse su estatura por encima entre las ramas, y fué vista en su altura, y con la multitud de sus sarmientos.

And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.

Mais elle fut arrachée avec fureur, jetée par terre, et le vent d’orient fit sécher son fruit ; ses rameaux robustes ont été brisés et desséchés, le feu les a consumés.

Empero fué arrancada con ira, derribada en tierra, y viento solano secó su fruto; fueron quebradas y secáronse sus varas fuertes; consumiólas el fuego.

Et un feu est sorti d’un rameau de ses branches †et a consumé son fruit, et il n’y a pas en elle de rameau robuste, de sceptre pour dominer. C’est là une complainte, et ce sera une complainte.

Y ha salido fuego de la vara de sus ramos, ha consumido su fruto, y no ha quedado en ella vara fuerte, cetro para enseñorear. Endecha es esta, y de endecha servirá.

And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.
