Ezequiel 1

No trigésimo ano, no quarto mês, ao quinto dia do mês, eu estava vivendo entre os cativos, no rio Quebar. Os céus se abriram e tive visões de Deus.

Y FUÉ que á los treinta años, en el mes cuarto, á cinco del mes, estando yo en medio de los trasportados junto al río de Chebar, los cielos se abrieron, y vi visiones de Dios.

a palavra de Yahweh veio a Ezequiel, filho de Buzi, o sacerdote, na terra dos caldeus, junto ao rio Quebar, e a mão de Yahweh estava sobre ele naquele lugar.

Fué palabra de Jehová á Ezequiel sacerdote, hijo de Buzi, en la tierra de los Caldeos, junto al río de Chebar; fué allí sobre él la mano de Jehová.

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

Olhei e havia um vendaval vindo do norte, uma nuvem enorme com fogo cintilante dentro dela, com brilho ao redor e dentro dela; o fogo era da cor de âmbar dentro da nuvem.

Y miré, y he aquí un viento tempestuoso venía del aquilón, una gran nube, con un fuego envolvente, y en derredor suyo un resplandor, y en medio del fuego una cosa que parecía como de ámbar,

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

No meio, havia a semelhança de quatro seres viventes. Eis a sua aparência: tinham a semelhança de um homem;

porém cada uma tinha quatro rostos e cada uma das criaturas tinha quatro asas.

Além disso, tinham mãos humanas debaixo das suas asas em todos os quatro lados; os rostos e as asas dos quatro eram assim:

as asas tocavam as asas da próxima criatura e não se viravam enquanto andavam; pelo contrário, cada uma andava para frente.

A semelhança dos seus rostos era como o rosto humano. Os quatro tinham rosto de leão ao lado direito, e os quatro tinham rosto de boi ao lado esquerdo. Os quatro tinham também o rosto de uma águia.

Seus rostos eram assim e as suas asas estavam abertas de modo que cada uma tinha um par de asas que tocava as asas da outra criatura e também um par de asas que cobria os seus corpos.

Tales eran sus rostros; y tenían sus alas extendidas por encima, cada uno dos, las cuales se juntaban; y las otras dos cubrían sus cuerpos.

Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Cada uma ia para frente, para onde o Espírito fosse, elas andavam sem se virar.

And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

Os seres viventes pareciam brasas ardentes, eram como tochas; o fogo respladecia e se movia entre os seres e havia clarões de relâmpago.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Os seres viventes se moviam rapidamente para frente e para trás e tinham a semelhança de relâmpago!

Depois, olhei para os seres viventes; havia uma roda no chão, ao lado dos seres viventes.

Assim era a aparência e a estrutura das rodas: cada roda era como berilo e as quatro tinham a mesma semelhança; a sua aparência e a sua estrutura eram como uma roda interligada à outra.

Quanto aos seus aros, eram altos e assustadores, porque os aros estavam cheios de olhos ao seu redor.

As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

Sempre que os seres viventes se moviam, as rodas se moviam com eles. Quando os seres viventes erguiam-se da terra, as rodas também se erguiam.

Aonde quer que o Espírito fosse, eles iam, e as rodas se erguiam com eles, porque o Espírito do ser vivente estava nas rodas.

Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Sobre as cabeças dos seres viventes, havia uma redoma como cristal refulgente, estendida sobre as suas cabeças.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like an awesome crystal to look at, stretched out over their heads above.

Debaixo da redoma, cada uma das asas dos seres esticava-se e tocava nas asas do outro ser. Cada um dos seres viventes também tinha um par de asas para se cobrir; cada um tinha um par para cobrir o seu próprio corpo.

And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

Uma voz vinha por cima da redoma, sobre as suas cabeças, sempre que paravam e abaixavam as suas asas.

Y cuando se paraban y aflojaban sus alas, oíase voz de arriba de la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas.

And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

Sobre a redoma que estava acima das suas cabeças, havia algo semelhante a um trono que era da aparência de uma safira, e, sobre esse trono, havia alguém que parecia um homem.

And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

Como a aparência de um arco-íris nas nuvens em um dia chuvoso, havia a aparência da luz cintilante que a rodeava. Era a aparência da glória de Yahweh. Quando vi isso, caí com o rosto em terra e ouvi a voz de Quem falava.

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
